  1. Well if you're not considering Pink Floyd, ('cos they're not heavy ) Made in Japan has always been the best of Deep Purple IMO.
  2. Ti's JF344s on Jazzes every time for me, fretted & fretless.
  3. Sharp is short & flat is long if the harmonic is sharp the string is too short - you need to move the saddle further away from the nut. HTH John
  4. At 07:44 my vote registered 711? I noticed this yesterday too - my vote came up with a number lower than had been shown here?

  10. Yes you need a common ground wire from the centre 'hole' of the jack socket to the pot bodies & the bridge.
  11. Busted! Could be a broken inner core, what make are they & where did you get them - talk to the supplier - I reckon they'll send you a replacement, or if it's Rotosound a whole set 'cos they're good like that.

  23. It's good but - 1st track, Sultans of Swing, it's such a long 'same old same old song' I wouldn't put it up as your opener for a demo, I can see critics loosing interest before the 6 minutes is up. The only thing I'd personally critisise overall is the vocals - which I can appreciate may well come across better live but recorded seem a bit lacking, lazy perhaps, could be brighter, seem a bit weak/tame. Constructive criticism of your avtar - when you hover over your name the avtar on Soundcloud it's shown less than full size & appears as a faceless bloke doing a pelvic thrust to the viewer, in fact the perspective of the picture used gives me the impression of a 'lot of crutch in jogging bottoms' - nothing personal but it's not helping your image IMHO. HTH John
