    My post is not intended to put people off, I would buy them myself if I had a use for them. I expected someone would say "I've done this a dozen times" or similar - no problem if you know what you're doing. If anybody wants to buy them & doesn't 'do soldering' I will offer to do the job for them - on the understanding that it is possible for it to all go horribly wrong. Cheerz, John

Yes that did cross my mind but all mine have got threaded saddles, except the BadAss I suppose 'cos they're all 'mock vintage'

    If I may chip in regarding spec. - the circuit I made for Tom uses CTS Premium 250K Audio Taper Log pots with a Switchcraft Jack socket, as used on top USA Fenders, incorporating a Switch + capacitor/resistor network, (for silent operation), to kill the output signal without having to alter the volume/tone settings.
