Hi John. I have checked them against a Precision and as long as you are not intending to string through the body, then they are fine for a 35 inch scale. Postage is not a problem. Please PM me if you are interested. David -

Black nylon tape wound strings for a deep/warm sound. I took the G string out and tried it on my grandson’s mini bass but it was clearly going to be too long, so I removed it without playing. Having now looked at the two recommendations above for alternative suppliers, Strings Direct offer free first class postage on orders over £30 and GAK is £2.94 also for first class. Bass Direct were £2 for second class, not tracked. It still seems a big price hike to me and I will now buy my strings elsewhere.

Had one of these a while back. Superb travel bass and sounded really good through headphones as well as an amp. It weighed all of 2kgs! £250 is a good price..... -

The new website seems to have bought new pricing! Postage for a set of strings was £2 but now it is £5...! Seems rather an excessive increase. Any suggestions for alternative suppliers?
