    I think the Fender Mexican Deluxe series from around 2016 are well worth a look. I’ve had a few of them (!) and they are very nice. Satin necks, contoured heel, PJ pickups and active/passive at the flick of a switch. Should be in your price range too.

    If I was looking for a new combo, I would buy this. All the great Markbass controls, PLUS mute, aux in and headphones! Why don’t MB include these on all their amps / heads? GLWTS.

    I used to have a set of TIs on my Jazz but changed them for a set of La Bella Low Tension Flats, a very nice combination imho and one I will stick with. I was able to loosen the truss rod a smidge with the LFTs too....... This bass looks amazing, GLWTS.

    I have never seen pearloid binding before....very nice. Is that not tarty enough for you Jason! 😁
