  1. Very, very nice. I’m thinking of using the first picture as my screen-saver! That Precision is something else too. GLWTS.
  2. Parchment guard placed on top.....makes it look very pale.
  3. Thanks very much! I’ve seen your Precision and that looks great too. I placed a parchment guard on the Jazz (picture to follow) and now feel the tort will stay!
  4. Cream pearl was not on my radar......hmm, interesting. Not dissimilar to a 60/70s competition blue Mustang.
  5. Thank you, I will happily let you know. I’m hoping they are not like the La Bella LTFs on my Precision that were initially very odd, with unbalanced sounds. They are great now though!
  6. Many thanks to all for your input - I have ordered a set of La Bella MUS flats!
  7. Hi David, Welcome from another David!
  8. The grain, flame and finish on the neck is very impressive! The rest of the bass is rather nice too! What is the weight?
  9. A pre-owned 2021 Jazz finished in Sonic Blue with 4 ply Tort pick-guard and all case candy, covers, certificate etc. It has a slab rosewood fingerboard and with the now standard v,v,t controls I guess it is based on a ‘62 JB. The neck has more meat on it than Custom Shop stack knobs I have played but still has the 38mm nut. it is fitted with a fresh set of Flea GHS boomers which will be coming straight off, might put a set of TIs on it. I’m now thinking about an off white/cream/parchment pick-guard......although the tort does look nice....!
  10. Hi. I prefer to keep the full number covered as sadly there appear to be too many Fender fakes available on a certain on line auction site, meaning some unsuspecting buyers end up paying decent money for a budget Bass with a ‘proper’ Fender serial number. People can use these genuine numbers and apply them to a cheap bass meaning a buyer thinks they are getting the real deal. It is very easy to pick up a sunburst Jazz copy with a rosewood fingerboard! I’m not for one minute saying BCers would do this! I can assure you this is a genuine American Fender made in April 1995 and am happy to provide you with the number if you would like to check yourself. I hope this helps?
  11. Stuart bought a Markbass head from me. Paid immediately. Great communications throughout and a really nice guy to deal with. Thank you.
  12. In the very detailed description it says it is in good working order - surely that should give you all the confidence you need! 🤣
  13. Jem has just bought a P Bass from me. He came round today as agreed and made a bank transfer for the bass. He is a very genuine person, so deal with confidence.
  14. I do! It’s job at the moment is to keep the dust off it!!!! I could have used a bin bag!!!! 🤣
  15. I took a bit of a £16.90 gamble on a Thomann Beat Bass gig bag (meant for Hofner violin basses) and can confirm a Mustang fits nicely! The first time it was a bit tight around the upper horn but that seems easier after a day or two. The bag has semi-rigid 20mm padding and can happily stand up on its own, so not at all flimsy. If I end up keeping the Mustang, then I would probably buy a suitable hard case. In the meantime, the Beat bag will more than do!
  16. Hi. My daughter lives in Cheltenham, so if we could tie in collection on a day when I am there, it will save your daughter around 50 miles on the round trip! Should mean less brownie points to use up too! Failing that, shipping will be £16.50. Please feel free to PM me if you would like more information or to arrange a collection. Regards. David
  17. A lovely looking 4 bolt Jazz! GLWTS.
  18. That’s a great looking bass, just one string too many for me! When you say it has never been outside the house.....do you mean before these lovely pictures were taken or is it that the inside of your house is in fact modelled on an immaculate garden?!?! 😁 GLWTS!
  19. Fender USA Jazz Bass from 1995. Finished in two-tone sunburst with what is now an off white pickguard. The pictures make it look white but it has definitely changed colour over the years! The frets and rosewood fingerboard are in good condition with some great grain on show, the satin maple neck feels great in the hand and appears to have lost a little of the satin. The chrome is also in nice condition. There are some minor nicks, dings and surface scratches but for a 27 year old bass, I believe it to be in well above average condition. It plays and sounds as you would expect from a good Jazz. The semi-solid Armourdillo case is in great shape and has a neat zippered top section which contains plenty of storage for an iPad, books, strings, cables etc. I will happily ship (at buyer’s expense and risk) if required but it will be very well packed. Collection in person welcomed!
  20. Welcome JBM!
