  1. I had one of these in Fiesta Red, sounded really nice! Remarkably good basses for very little money. GLWYS.
  2. Any pictures…..please?
  3. Has this beauty been sold? Great price for a JV.
  4. The bridge ashtray might be genuine!
  5. I keep looking at this....great basses and a tempting price.
  6. That looks to be in excellent condition!
  7. The 3 remaining strings are; E 3/4 Medium 3885.5 D Light S37W G Light S36W.
  8. Grab an absolute bargain! Selling my Jazz Bass recently bought on this Forum. I really wanted to try a Jazz again after being converted to Precisions but whilst it is of course a fantastic bass, I have concluded that I will stick with Precisions - I prefer the wider nut width of Ps but this Jazz does have some nice depth to the neck, whilst remaining the classic 1.5 inch or 38mm width at the nut. It sounds and plays great - it has EMG pups. I didn’t take the Fralin pickups but understand they might still be available from the original seller. For full disclosure...... I am no expert, but didn’t think the bridge, strap buttons or pickguards are original to the bass. Collection in person is welcomed and shipping is an option. The link to the original listing with good pictures is attached. TRADES - Precisions! Custom Shop or American Vintage Reissues considered. Preferably with a maple fingerboard. I can add cash to the deal. I’m not looking for the earlier style (‘51 to ‘57) Precisions. Thank you.
  9. Ian bought a set of flatwounds from me - a perfect transaction throughout! Great communications, instant payment and he kindly let me know when they arrived safely!
  10. Rabbie bought a huge bundle of double bass strings from me. A great transaction, super fast payment and great communications. He was also kind enough to confirm when the package arrived safely!
  11. Lovely! Like @Beedster I had one of these about 15 years ago - really well made and great sounding basses. Sadly, I didn’t have the original case or COA..... Now however, I have the Fender Tweed case and no bass from that period to put in it!! Should have kept the bass! GLWYS.
  12. Hi James. It is new, in fact the packet is still sealed! David
  13. Replied to. They are indeed long scale and measure approx 37 inches from ball end to silk.
  14. Looks great and warmth is good, so probably money well spent! I’m sure it will save you money on running costs, so a NBD will be just around the corner! I don’t have GAS….rural Gloucestershire so oil only!
  15. Very nice!
  16. Picture of new bass? 😀
