hey everyone! i am thinking about getting a tech21 sansamp bass driver deluxe. iv never tried one as my local music shops dont stock them or any other sansamp gear and as far as i can see theres 1 video on youtube with it in (at namm 08 i think..??) anyways. does anyone have one. whats it like? im basicaly wanting to add dirtyness to my bass. i dont want to over distort it or add too much effect. but id just like to add some dirtyness to my bass for some of the tracks in my band. from what i can see it will improve my clean sound and give me the option of using 3 channels with i asume programable difrent levels of distortion/dirtyness? on 2 difrent guitars. so your thoughts and opinions on this item please! iv heard its good. but thought id get the opinion of some fellow basschatters before comiting to buy! thankyou! i am going to be buying a second hand amp very soon. i just wanted to know what bad stuff to look out for. as far as the person im buying it off is concerned its in prestine condition.... bought in 1997 and giged 5 times. its an ampeg svt classic valve head and two 4x10s. just wanted to know what to look out for problems wise. its not been used for 10 years or so! and iv never owned a valve amp and dont no much about them other than they are the bees knees! so have they become redundant as they have not been used for over 10 years. or will they be as new becuase they havent been used. i no they need to be replaced after a while. so yeh is there any hum i should be listening for or anythign like that? if there are problems how majour will they be and how expensive to fix? eg a new set of valves etc thanks!

I am relisting this as i have a massive gas for valves! Its an absolute beast!! here are the specs... Ampeg B2-RE 450 watt head Ampeg SVT 115E cab all in perfect working order!!!! Ampeg B2RE amplifier, packs serious punch in a compact 2U size. Superb, prestine conditon!! This rig will come with 4U suspension mounted flight case worth £100. And the speaker is a top of the range ampeg speaker. it has jack AND speakon inputs. The speaker has some wear and tear but is other wise in great condition and sounds great! Feel free to ask any questions. this setup cost me £1800 brand new, (with an svt 410) just over a year and a half ago. I am NOT selling the 410. Although if some would like to trade their 4ohm one for my 8ohm one plus a bit of cash? Im willing to let this little lot go for £700 If you want to trade..... Im after a valve amp. I Will consider anything.

fender american jazz delux 4 string, with hard case. allen keys etc. colour: sunburst this bass is just over a year old bought brand new in september 2008 for £1259 and has been giged alot! the ONLY damage realy worth worrying about is to the BACK ONLY of the bass. theres some buckle rash on the back (but nothing that goes through the laquer) the only other damage is very small..... minor dings. 1 on the head stock very small.. also the hard case has marks on the out side so that shows it has done Its job properly!! inside the case is prestine! i am asking for £700. Feel free to ask any questions etc! i no this is not the section for selling amps but i am also selling my ampeg stack!
