Hi, First off sorry if i sent out the wrong vibe regarding this bass (I had really no idea of the second hand value of the bass) and yes i was wrong not to update my original posting but really was shocked to see the interest! Would have been and still am happy to take £800 the thing was I was hit with many e-mails regarding the bass from the good people here at Basschat and elsewhere all offering £800! This sale is in no way Greed motivated. Sorry goes out to "trevthebass" but can i point out buyers should not "be aware" As a result of the negative feedback think i will just put bass in its case and leave it at that. Seems to be TONS of interest in this bass so here are some photos :-) Due to the fact My Digital Camera looks like its from 1984 the photo quality is poor and do this bass no justice. Trust me bass is absolutely stunning!!! One of the best 5 string basses i have ever seen and trust me i have owned plenty! But due to the missus booking a holiday i really can't afford bass has to go :-( Some info. Only damage to bass is 2 small chips on top of headstock i have tried to show this in photo but hard to photo also Hard wear needs a nice new polish. Rest of the bass is 100% mint with almost no fret wear etc. Bass looks new to be honest. Open to offers for this bass. Bass also comes with Hard case and has just been fitted with new strings.

I did get hold of a Yamaha Nathan east bass BBNEII IN WHITE FOR £600 on ebay last month! Its a buyers market but not a sellers. We will see what happens with the Tobias but i hold very little hope

Yeah Mate thats kinda what im thinking :-( Don't think going any lower than £650 would be worth it so could end up stuck with it :-( I just got too many basses so have of them never see the light of day :-)

Hi, I have a Gibson (90's model) Tobias Killer B 5 bass in transparent Green Finish (Really gorgeous finish) my question is before i put on ebay what is a good starting price for such a bass? I bought it from the U.S back in 2003 for £1200. I know the Tobias Models are big in the U.S. but not sure about the U.K. market? Cheers

I bought it from the gallery for £1400 1 year later after months of trying to sell it for no less than a £1000 i had to drop the price on ebay for a quick sale :-( Never understood why it didn't sell for more. Lovely bass but moved away from the sound of graphite necks.

ahh this brings back memories :-) i used to own this bass bought it from the bass gallery about 5-6 years ago ended up selling it on ebay a long time ago i think it was for about £900?? Great bass!

Some people love the teal colour some hate but i think its one of the stingrays best finishes :-) If no interest from the basschat post after a few days will post on ebay ;-)
