Out on my travels today I got to try the Sunburst 70's Precision...... Bloody hell i'm in love with this bass... it looks even better in the flesh and the tone is to die for. So much so that i've given up on the 50's road worn Precision (for the moment ) >Really really impressed with it, the neck is fantastic... a thing of beauty. I even liked the white one...!!! what's wrong with me I don't like white basses....... Going to have to get rid of some basses..... anyone want my Yamaha BB1200s lol

As a recent convert to Fenderism, I love the sunburst and have major gas for this bass.!! Just got to decide between the 50's road worn or 70's.. Oh and I think the block inlay on the maple neck looks superb:-)

I'm thinking of building a 4 string P bass from fender parts.... can you mix 'n' match from say the MIM 'MIJ or made in the u.s. ....? Any tips would be appreciated Ian.

I thought the youtube footage did it justice.... it did sound really warm!!! The all valve pre amp idea sounds fantastic and a real contender to the Orange Terror bass which IMO is fantastic.... Are there going to be any cabs for the Mibass range???
