I wonder how much these are going to be...???

This is the colour I've been waiting for... beautiful!! I'm not sure it is a J width...I think it's a mistake...

They really are special basses... I used to have a BB 300 nodded with the BB 1200s pick ups and pre amp...really great bass that was.. Even in its standard form it was brilliant...

On my Vintage Yamaha BB basses 70s-80s Facebook page his son said that the pre amp is quite close to the 1200s pre amp...he used the 734a for a gig in the states... I checked the footage out and it sounds great... Totally agree they should reissue the 1200s it's a fantastic bass...

Look forward to reading your review... I'm interested in this as well...sounds great in the video reviews....and has an effects loop...wish the Tech 21 flyrig had one...

The more I look at that maple neck with the painted headstock the more I think how ridiculous it looks... I did notice that in one of the videos there was a maple neck that didn't have the headstock painted...

I like the BB 434M... but I wish the headstock was unpainted though....

I'm intrigued.... Looking forward to seeing the new basses...dare I hope for reversed pick ups....

If they'd keep the original headstock shape I could've lived with it... Shergold= distinctive headstock... The new guitar headstock shape looks as though they gave up half way through designing it... How are you guys finding the chorus..? Is it flexible... i.e subtle to Hooky levels???

I was going to ask this myself... I have Yamaha BB 1200 in natural and want it resprayed in a translucent cherry red...is it better to strip back to the wood or can It spray as is...??

Is Chris still the bass and guitar guru at the bass centre..? I've tried contacting but have had no reply....!?

Finally got around to sorting my Precision bass.... It's up and running and sounds great....well sort of...by that I mean I got a set of Rotosounds and replaced the slinky I had on as a stop gap... the slinkys sounded better!? At the moment I've got SDP3 pups in at the moment...they're a great pick up,very articulate....but there's something missing...can't quite put my finger on it. I'm going to research alternatives... I'm thinking something vintage sounding... My main basses are Yamaha BB 1200, which may explain why I'm not fully getting on withe SDP3... Next step will be a 21 fret neck...
