I am selling my old Series 6 Trace Elliot AH200 head and Trace Elliot 1U rack mounted UV light all of which is flight cased in a Thon 3U aluminium flight case. I have recently bought a TC Classic 450 off itsmedunc here and this must go. I am asking for [s]£280[/s] £230 for the lot. All the stickers are included! The cab show in the picture is not included. I have had the amp for 21 years and it has served me very well, but I now fancy a change. I have had it serviced / repaired twice when i had some minor problems some years ago. It it well protected now and very easy to transport and store. You should know the deal with these old school TE heads by now. Loads of power and headroom. Inputs for passive or active. Input gain. 12 band graphic with mid pre shape. DI out with pre / post eq. Effects loop. Line in & out. Master volume. Headphones socket. 2 x 6.5mm jack outputs for speaker connection at the rear. The TE UV light was an eBay buy some years ago. These are not easy to find now are are quite rare. There are other rack mounted UV lights, but not with the TE logo. Both the light and amp are powered by a single 'Y' cable which is supplied. There are no speaker cables supplied. This combined package weighs in at 15kg and measures 54x46x18cm unpackaged. Collection is fine from South Devon, or you can arrange for a courier to collect at your expense. I will also consider meeting up part way upon agreement. I will consider splitting them up. The costs would then be, excluding delivery. AH200 - [s]£180[/s] £150 (will also include rack ears) UV Light - [s]£60 [/s]£50 Flight case - [s]£40[/s] £30

I have my Ashdown Sub-Octave Plus for sale. [s]£35[/s] now £30 including postage. I have had this for a few years now and have used it many times with no problem. I now use a Boss OC2 and can get a distorted tone from my new amp. Powered by a single 9V battery or a power supply, which are not included. It is in it's original box It has true bypass switching and the Ashdown blurb states "This earth-shattering pedal generates a note one octave below the note being played, at the same volume and based on the waveform of the original signal. By blending the sub-octave note with the original signal, bass players can move from a subtle reinforcement of the sound to truckloads of bone crushing tone. As a further plus, distortion can be added to the sub-octave, with the level of distorted sub-octave and degree of distortion both adjustable by the player."

I have my Ashdown Dual Band Compression pedal for sale. £35 including postage. I have had this for a few years now and have used it many times with no problem. I have a new amp with compression built in so no longer need it. Powered by a single 9V battery or a power supply, which are not included. It is in it's original box. It has true bypass switching and the Ashdown blurb states "Designed to meet the specific needs of the modern bass player, Ashdown's dual band compressor splits the signal into high and low frequency bands and applies compression separately to both - fast attack and decay for the high frequency and slow attack and decay for the low frequency or fundamental waveform of the note. The amount of compression applied to each is independently variable and the balance between the high and low frequency components of the signal is also controllable as they are recombined into a single full range output." David Gilmour tour band - Guy Pratt on bass

+1 Great basslines and I could hear him really well through the TV speakers. -
The Wanch. I practically lived in there when I was in HK in the early 90's. Went to a Jam night when I first arrived and instantly joined a band. Played loads of gigs in there and ended up running the jam nights. For a while I was in the house band.I was also a member of the Wanchai Hash House Harriers who where based there. Great memories. Went back for a holiday 10 years and met up with some old friends and had a jam for old times sake.

Looks good this year. Nick Beggs too. Will be there.

The world's first ever radio station devoted to the bass.

Bookmarked for later thanks. -
Im with Roger2611 on this. What sort of volume are you pumping out. Never had this problem before. Most bands seem to go with one sub. Sorry to hear about your problem but don't really have a solution.

Make sure you allow plenty of time for a sound check and get right out front to hear the foh sound for yourself. Eq as discreet will definitely help. Careful about using a stand although with that speaker configuration you probably don't need to. Also try to stand as far away from your rig as possible on stage.
-
Can you post some pictures.
-
Yes. Probably a bit easier than setting up your own. We get lots of visitors to ours. Only a couple of venue contacts made. Probably doesn't do much for punters through doors.
-
Definitely. Also goes for Tight.

For us The Coach House in Paignton. We have payed there regularly for some years. Very friendly staff and regulars. We get booked for the whole year in one go. We have even practiced there on a quite weekday night. Always a good gig to be had.

Quite amusing. Check out his other videos too.

I have an old original one that started doing the same. Bought a cheap spare to use in case. Never got to the bottom of the problem. I tried different leads and basses but the issue would reappear often as not. Will be interested to see if anyone has found a solution.
