1. You can push the poles in so they are flush with the pup cover. Ideally with the strings off or loosened so you can gain access. You can't push too hard as they will stop when your fingers reach the pup cover. I did this to even them out as I was experiencing quieter D & G strings. But of course there is no such problem over at the EBM forum, as you have found out!
2. I have read that the compressor should be before the ovtaver in order to even out the signal but tru both.

Looks like the 3B model if it has the through neck and active pups. I have the 2B model with standard neck and passive pups. Should play nice and is built like a tank.
4. Good luck and have fun. Nothing wrong with Tie Your Mother Down. One our best songs. Edit. I hope you know how to pull off as you will be doing it a lot!
5. Looks good. Hope you really dig it. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
6. For years I was using a smiley face eq. Now I favour the low mid boost in a slight frown on my 12 band. It can sound boxy but works a treat in a band setting. Make your final choice st a gig venue, not at home and with the whole band.
7. I have one too. TBH I was disappointed with the suppled strings and a new set sorted that out. The action is great but after a few gigs I'm not too sure about it as a main gigging bass. Something is just missing but I have been gigging my Ray for year's so it's going to sound different and it's not really fair to compare these 2 side by side. I mainly use it for practising. I did have an issue with mine at first due to it's light weight. I though something was wrong and started a thread about it. Still great value for the money though and I'm glad you like yours.
8. The last music shop in Torquay closed recently. TBH I have only bought a few thing in there and would generally buy online. Now the nearest shop is Mansons, which I like but can't always justify the 40 mile round trip very often. I have most of what I need bass wise any buy strings in bulk online. I need a few PA things occasionally and that is online too.
9. Well seeing as though I posted his picture I thought I'd better do some research. He looks like Rob Jones from Missing Andy! Only trouble is our Rob Jones would be too old now as Missing Andy's Rob is only 30. https://twitter.com/...ssingandy/media Rob Jones is a common name. The founding member of Wonderstuff was Rob Jones, R.I.P. I don't think it was him though.
10. Isn't your PayPal ID your email address anyway. What's the difference? That's just another reason to suspect it's a scam.
11. Usual BS story and poorly written email. Delete it and move on.
12. On my TE AH200 I use the graphic with some low mid boost.
13. Plenty of great songs already mentioned. What about PSI Power.
14. +1 for bringing a seprate DI to what you may have avilable on your amp head. +1 for being the bands sound guy too. When you plug any input into the desk you wil need to set the input gain.
15. Frigging phone predictive text. Nice one you guys.
16. I'm partial to some tasteful slab. Our band has recently added Hungary Like The Wolf to our set which had some simple octaves.
17. A great series. The recent one on Rio was good too. John Taylor going through some bass lines.
18. My TE AH200 clip light gets tickled a bit. I do keep an eye on it quite often an will turn the input down a click if needed.
19. Here's our bands https://soundcloud.com/carl-mepsted
20. Another for cutting them down so I get at least 3 wraps around the tuning peg.
21. Were you listening to this on Dr Mosh on Simo Mayo's Radio 2 show tonight?
22. Sorry. It was a 30 minute programme. I missed the start but managed to catch Mansons.
