1. Hi, I'm thinking of selling my Fender Jaco Pastorious custom shop heavy relic jazz bass. Anyone interested?
2. I've got a mint condition 50th Anniversary American Fender Precision - Ash body finished in Butterscotch, with black scratch plate, maple neck with separate maple fingerboard if you're interested?
3. It's hard to beat a precision, it just does what it says on the box, but damn well.
Yes, they have: http://www.fender.com/en-GB/products/searc...rtno=0194070700 Chris, the Decade is versatile but perhaps not in the way you require as it's also somewhat idiosyncratic. Also, the Decade also has a definitely Jazz type neck. However, if you can't get your hands on one around Canterbury and you fancy a trip to Brighton to test one out you'd be welcome.
4. Hi, Not sure if you're still looking for an amp. If you are and are interested in the Bassman, i'm looking for £450. Ade
And the price please....seeing as Im currently in the market for just such an amp....feel free to PM me tino
5. I'm selling my 1966 Fender Jazz bass, built by Fender's master luthier Mark Kendrick. It's a limited edition (1 of 100) finished in antique goldmist with a cream bound rosewood fingerboard, cream pickguard, paddle tuners, ash tray and pickup bridge. It comes with Fender's black tolex case, certificate & lead. It's got a low action and pure jazz bass tone. There are some dings on the body and the parts are aged by the custom shop. I paid £2,800 for it but would reluctantly let it go for £2,100. If you're in the market for a custom shop relic etc, then this could be of interest to you, and hopefully will increase it's value over time as it's 1 of 100. Here is a picture of it (and me....)

7. Hi, I'm selling my mint condition Ampeg V4BH 100 Watt Tube Bass Head, which is similar to the SVT, just smaller in output (100W). It uses the same tubes in the preamp and drive sections (2 - 12AX7 in the preamp, a 12AU7 and 12AX7 for drive). For the power section it uses 4 6L6s. Controls include 3-band EQ, 5-position mid-tone control, ultralow/high boost, and presence switch. Connections include normal and padded input, a balanced line out, and preamp out/power amp in. 24" x 11" x 13". 40 lbs. * 100w power at 4 and 8 ohms * All tube pre, power and drive sections * 3 band EQ * 5 position mid switch * Ultra low and treble boosts * line out / foot switch * Normal and padded inputs * Tube protection circuitry * Slave output jack * Tube compliment: 2 x 12AX7 preamp; 12AU7 and 12AX& driver tubes; 4 x 6L6 power amp tubes * 8 or 4 ohms impedence The amp is in mint condition and although it has been gigged regularly over the last 3 years, it is very reliable and in perfect working order. I've never had to push it over 70% of it's output and it's happily performed in clubs and weddings venues without effort. Was £840 new, looking for £500. Regards Adrian Mobile 07515 518067
8. A bit of history for sale. This Fender Bassman Export head is totally cool. It's a 50w watt, kick ass amp that is louder than you'd expect. It has an instrument and separate bass channel, both with two jacks, a bright switch, volume, bass and treble. There is a switchable voltage selector on the back, a stand by and power switch. All the valves have recently been relaced with harmonically balanced Groove Tubes. Although this amp has been used continuously over the years, it still performs beautifully. The build quality is as solid as they come. £450 Adrian email: [email protected]
9. SOLD!! PLEASE REMOVE
10. Here's some more photos as requested. I'll post the serial number to BassChat tonight. Postage is approx £20, or collection from East Grinstead.
11.
Nice! Is the pickguard black anodized? Also, is there any fancy decal or badge denoting it's 'special edition' status? Is the neck just tinted or is it lacquered? Hmmm, much ponderment.
The Pickguard is matt black single ply. the '50th Anniversary' is quoted on the neckplate and the neck is lacquered in a rich gloss, typical of the time, although the bass is actually a modern P bass in all other terms (e.g. through stringing etc.)
12. I'm sadly selling my mint condition USA Fender 50th Anniversary Precision finished in Butterscotch. It has a swampash body, maple neck and unusually for Fender, a separate Maple fingerboard, offering a comfortable modern profile and feel. Frets are medium. The bass comes with a tweed case, certificates, tags, truss rod adjuster, lead and strap. This is certainly the best P bass I've owned and has superb punch and sustain. Looking for £850 ono. You won't be disappointed, it deserves a good home!
