1. really need to shift these! i can throw in a set of machine heads with them if that tempts anyone?? one set is fender MIM (curved bottom back plate ones) and comes with a set of collars, the other set is a wilkinson reissue set (the big ones like 70's 'F' ones) but dont have collars, neither set have the fixing screws either but i'll throw these in with a neck if it helps to shift them? potential buyer can chose which set they want!
2. or swap one or both for a jazz neck!?

5. few bits sold will listen to iffers for the rest
6. had these two a while and seeing as i aint gonna be doing anything with them for a while might as well move them on to new homes! one is from the 'icon' range and i believe it to be from their Pbass range, its been lightly snaded on the back of the neck to remove the gloss finish and has a few battle scars on the headstock but other than that in very good shape second one is from the 'reissued' range and i believe it came off their jazz bass, its immaclate, still has the gloss finish on the back. both have the same nut width 40mm and both come with nut installed looking for £40 posted for each
7. aha! sounds like a good idea! might try that first cheers
8. recently acquired a rather nice squier deluxe active jazz - all black version. now it doesnt have a scratchplate as standard but tbh i'd quite like to put a tort one on it but cant make my mind up cos once i do then it'll have to stay on or else the holes will show! anyone done something similar?
9. due to my arm op ive found myself with spare bits i aint gonna make use of anymore: [s]raven labs drop in preamp for Pbass £40[/s] [s]johnson pbass neck (altered headstock - not the best job but still useable) comes with tuners £25[/s] generic pbass copy neck £25 generic gold tuners (threaded collars, cant seem to find the screws but they only need one each or can be used without screws if tightened up securely) £15 [s]squier high mass bridge (new) minus fixing screws £10[/s] [s]generic high mass bridge £10[/s] [s]squier vm jag preamp and pickup £25[/s] all prices include uk postage
10. its not a warmoth body, its an import but it really is a top notch job!
11. cheers for the compliments guys, I'm up in Sunderland
12. Cant believe I'm listing this TBH but GAS has taken hold and this is the only bass of any real value that o'm willing to sacrifice! I had this put together for me by our very own bassdoc last year, the spec is: mahogany body with spalted maple top (VERYYYY nice!!) babicz bridge Warwick MEC passive pickups Carvin 3 band pre amp (with gain trimpot) chrome knobs chrome fender straplocks currently strung with picato flats (45-105) Staus graphite jazz neck (this was second hand when i bought it but looks like it was hardly ever played!) There are additional holes on the back of the headstock from previoius machineheads, also I replaced the string tree with a 'bar' type closer to the nut as i thought that was better!! (dont ask me why!) the original string tree will be included if i can find it. other than these issues there are NO issues with the neck at all, it plays and feels as new Anyhow here's some pics... I love tis bass, the range of tones it can produce are great, lovely fast neck and a real joy to play, but if i can get a reasonable return on it in order to fund the GAS problem then i'm prepared to say goodbye! Price wise I'm hoping for a very reasonable £600 including a nice padded gigbag
