1. Back to the top, open to offers on this.
2. A little bump to the top! Also, I remembered that I played this on this demo last year: https://soundcloud.com/craigharrisonmusic/travelling-woman
3. Cheers for all the nice comments!
That looks a really nice bass! Is there any of my effects that take your fancy in part trade?
Sorry, but nothing there I'm afraid; not really into pedals!
4. I believe it's an ATK 200.
5. Here we have an Ibanez ATK that I defretted a couple of years ago. It's the first defret I've done, and I was really pleased with the result. I used maple veneers to mark the lines and the bass plays really nicely, with loads of mwah available. For anyone who hasn't played an ATK before, this basically sounds an awful lot like a Stingray. It's in excellent condition, and my bathroom scales state it as a smidge over 9lbs. I have a (unpadded) gigbag which I'll include with the sale, it will at least keep the rain off! The bass is currently strung with TI flats and set up with an easy playing low action. The board hasn't been epoxied, so I don't know how it would stand up to rounds, but with the powerful EQ you can really get into rounds territory. I'm looking for £165 delivered in the UK, or £150 collected from Nottingham or nearby. Don't really fancy any trades. For the especially geeky, I've included photos of the defretting process. Slowly removing frets, with tape in place to collect any fingerboard chips. All out! There weren't too many chips, but they were all hastily glued back down. After sanding the neck I glued the veneers in. I spread a mixture of glue and the sawdust from the initial sanding along the side of each veneer, to cover any tiny gaps. Carefully cutting back the veneers. Sanding back to a fine grit with a radius block to keep the fingerboard curve.
6. I bought Matt's Twin Valve combo and couldn't be happier. A true gent.
7. Price dropped to £250 ono! This is a bargain for a great amp which is only 6 months old!
8. Do you know the approximate weight? (I know it's Trace and made of pig iron...)
9. I used to have one of these! Great sounding cab.
10. Price drop to £250 ONO - open to offers! Wonderful sounding acoustic amp. Dual channel to allow for mic use, with switchable phantom power. Great reverbs and effects built in, along with feedback busting notch filters and phase reverse switches. Dual channel DI outputs, along with a mixed DI output too. Add to all of this a very loud 120 watt amp which is an easy one-hand carry. All the blurb is here: http://www.fishman.c.../loudbox-artist Almost perfect condition apart from a couple of nicks in the tolex on the back; I've tried to show these in the photos. Looking for £280 ono, buyer collects from Nottingham or I can deliver (as long as it's not too far) for petrol money. Unfortunately I can't ship as I don't have a box. Trade-wise, I'm currently after a bass rig. 4x10 plus head would be nice, but combos cool too.
11. A bit of interest, but still here - I'm open to sensible offers! In contrast to the above video, it also nails the Motown sound. http://youtu.be/D_VjBTsx4gg
12. Hi Stuee, It will run on 9v to 18v. Never tried 18v but apparently it gives a little bit more headroom. No PSU included, but it does currently have a battery inside.
13. Bump for price drop. Now £90 including UK delivery!
14. Catalinbread SFT for sale. £90 delivered in the UK. Very good condition, with box - some small marks underneath where velcro has been attached - see photo.
15. I'd do the cabs for £150 each, but they'd need to be collected. They're jack connectors, 8ohm.
16. I'd do the head for £160 delivered in the UK, £150 collected.
17. Thanks to people mucking me about and being indecisive (without even trying this rig, I'll add), I have this lovely setup back up for sale at £450 ono. Ampeg PF350 amp head, with two PF115 cabs. Both of the cabs are fliptops, so the amp is attached to the top one. 350 watt head, and the rig has a beautiful B-15-like sound; it's got controlled, tight bass due to them being sealed cabs. I've been playing this with a Catalinbread SFT in front for a tiny bit of grit, and with a P-bass it's just lush. Without the grit it's still gorgeous - very clean but tubby, round sound. These PF350 heads haven't had any of the reliability problems that the PF500s have, and it's never missed a beat. All in all, a compact and light setup (and both cabs have removable castors) that can do vintage or modern sounds, thanks to the excellent tweeters in the cabs. Ed Friedland demonstrates this well in this video: Overall, this is in very good condition, but there are a couple of nicks in the tolex, and some paw marks where my cat walked over it. I've tried to show these in the photos. Open to offers on this. Not really interested in trades, unless it's electric piano related. I don't mind splitting. This is too big to ship, but I could always meet halfway, etc. I'm based around Derby / Nottingham, but often go across to East Anglia.
18. Bump! Open to offers.
19. Thanks for the bumps on this guys. Will be putting this on eBay at some point today, although a basschat sale is always preferable.
20. Haha, cheers man. They are really great, my issue is I only really use it as a big tuner!
