3.
Hello mate I'm thinking of trading my Markbass R500 head (valve pre) and Markbass 151HF cab. Both have had relatively little use (I'm using my Markbass 12" combo for most gigs but am currently looking for a more powerful combo for larger gigs). The head is in the Markbass bag and is extremely small and light. Sound-wise it has the classic Markbass clarity with extra warmth and grunt. The cab is not the Traveller version but is still very light and manageable for a front-ported 15". Having owned all three Markbass 15" models at one time or another this is certainly the most powerful and bassy. Not sure what the going rate would be for the two but I would imagine somewhere close enough to £900 for a few notes to change hands leaving you with a smile on your face! I was going to take some pics and list the two items seperately on BC but if your interested please let me know and I'll hold off a while. Cheers Chris
You have a PM Ta very glad Dale
4.
Ahh so my Trace Elliot VType combo plus quite some money your way would not be a possibility then?
You combo + £900 you have a deal . Ta very glad Dale
5. Is it possible to get scratches out of a pick guard. I was trying to remove a deep scratch and used some wire wool to smooth it out. This has put fine scratches all over the guard (I should have known it would do this but to late now DoH !) Any help please. Ta very glad Dale
6. Hi Paul, sounds really good but I do need a speaker with any set up. The sort of thing I was thinking is maybe a Markbass head + traveller cab, Genz Benz, Zoot cab or any other light weight set-up. Needs to be a full rig as in Head + cab or a combo. Ta very glad Dale
7. detail update
8. The head can be taken out of the cab, but not in quite the same way as the Walkerbout. It is bolted in, but it could be used as a stand alone head no problem. Ta very glad Dale
9. Will get pic's for anyone interested in this and post on Basschat as soon as I have them. Ta very glad Dale
10. Ow do all, I have a Mesa M-Pulse 600 2x12 combo for trade. This unit is is new condition, never been giged, used for only 4 months from new. has custom made padded cover, Mesa foot switch & manual. Mesa renamed this combo the M-Pulse Venture 600. As far as I can tell the spec is the same as is for my combo. My combo looks like this http://www.mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/Bas...ure/Venture.htm The manual for my combo is http://www.mesaboogie.com/manuals/M-Pulse.pdf I need a light weight set up, something of same used value is what I am after. Has to be quality and in first class condition. The Mesa sells new for around £1900 new, so sensible offers only please. Although I do recognize my combo is 2nd hand & would value it at £900ish. Let me see what ya got. Ta very glad Dale

13.
I didn't read this as the OP wanting a combo... rather he wants a large valve type head with the trader wanting to downscale from a loud tube amp.. but I may be wrong....
Is there any point to your post

15. I bought this and have never really played it. I have had it from new, beautiful guitar, very good sound. I think this needs to go to a home where it will be played, not left in the gig bag. £350 ovno this is less than half price for this guitar.

20. I have CTS in both wrists, the only treatment that works in my experience is to have it released. CTS is a tube in the wrist that nerves to the hand pass through and is when this tube narrows. This squashes the nerves and usually makes the thumb and the fingers next to the thumb go numb. Normally you use a brace at night as this is the main time CTS can be a problem. Playing musical instruments also causes problems. I have problems with my bass guitar also tuba. To have your CTS released is a smallish operation done under a local (no knock out). Takes 6~8 weeks to be fully over the opp and able to use your wrist normally. I have had my left hand released and it has been great ever since. As this is a problem with nerves being compressed, I think this is the only option, if it is really causing you problems. I do still have CTS in my right wrist but for now just live with it. I will go for an opp if it goes any worse and causes further problems. If you need any more info and think I can help from my experience please pm me. Ta very glad Dale
