  1. I can reiterate all those sentiments, great gig, Chucks bass playing was perfect. I knew most of the tunes, Pick up the pieces highlighted the Sax player. Maybe a tad of Little Feat in future. It was a great gig.
  2. The time has come. I would like to go 34” 5 string, this is a tad too long. Due to illness this lay unused during 2020, 2021, pulled out of retirement the back end of 2022, used for the odd rehearsal. There are no marks that I can see. I will post additional snaps later. The last price I saw on this particular model circa £2,000 +. Thanks for looking
  3. I will be there as well! Best say hello 🤗 Brian (Oldman)
  4. and is it a full neck thru? The five retaining Bolts/screws are the clue.
  5. Bought an Acoustic Bass from Stuart, arrived intact, Prompt comms, excellent packing. ***** What’s not to like?
  6. You kept that gem hidden Chay, lovely Bass
  7. It was, 3 years ago, super bass, 34” and a bit mid to high frequency range for me, but it looked great with the DR’s.

  9. I have introduced this bass into the fray a few times. This is a snap from the recent Nottingham Bass Bash. I don’t play it now, it’s not in demand in the band. However I did commission Twins, fretted and fretless, fretted was traded before my illness stopped me in my tracks. It’s is one of the most stunning builds ever and I have owned quite a few commissioned Overwaters. But, times are changing, the lights are dimming it’s time to be realistic and let it go. I have the spec sheet, it cost circa £1,700.00. I was working overseas at the time. £750.00 would be a good price, an excellent price. However I’m being kind, £675.00 O.N.O.. I do have more snaps, if you need string spacing I can do that. Or, come and try it out. Thanks for looking
  10. There was only ever one bass I lusted after, more than the ‘88 Thumb NT I owned from new, it was a ‘Pentabuzz’. What an absolutely fab bass.
  11. That’s a better response for a cab 👍
  12. Surely this “ 8Hz - 13kHz “ should read 80Hz to 13KHz
  13. It’s my Custom 5iver, unlined fretless! NT, and it’s for Sale!
  14. I’ve been home about an hour Cawfee, then tube my lunch. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, some lovely basses, Owens Overwater 6ixer being one, Machines MTD got me thinking as well. I pushed off early as I needed some Nutrition and I have MED’s to take into account. A great time was had, hearing all the snap, popple and crack of you guys that do the ‘Slap and Tickle’ , makes me a bit envious of your abilities, but old school (or just plain old) has its compensations in memories. Thanks to everyone I spoke to, it was really good to ‘News’ with you. Some spot on Amp set ups……….. G.A.S. Never say never (I did).
