  1. Reduced to £500.00, shipping extra, hard case extra, collection the cheapest option. Bought this bass earlier this year prior to my long stay in Hospital. My intention was to use it as the fretted bass complimenting my Fretless and my change to 34” scale basses. Things being what they are, I find I’ve got a redundant sixth string. I’ve no interest in Chordal playing or even the odd chord so after a short ownership I’d like move it to someone who will benefit from a starter 6ixer that punches well above its weight in value alone. My description is cobbled up from the original txt when I bought this Bass. The Tanglewood Baron is a one off beast and is exceptionally well made, quality is akin to any number of custom basses that run into the thousands, but this is here for a paltry £615.00: including Hard Case and courier UK mainland only at your risk. A trial and more snaps, just ask. The pups and preamp are EMG designed for Tanglewood, though according the person I bought it from they never went past the prototype stage for these 6 string Barons. Tuners are Gotoh according to Tanglewood. Neck is Wenge and Maple, body wings are lightly figured solid maple. Bridge is gold plated brass. Standard 34" scale with 16mm spacing at the bridge and 8mm spacing at the nut. The volume knob has a bit of a crackle it could simply be a bit of dust on the graphite pad of the pot. Other than that mint, condition is easily 9.5/10 plus, no marks whatsoever. The bridge placement and slightly shorter upper horn make it balance very well, typically with Warwicks (especially thumbs!) At 34" feels more like a 36" scale as the body sits quite far to the left of the body. Neck through at this price! As you can see it’s a handsome Bass.
  2. Thank you that makes sense.
  3. A clean signal and the efx not sure where I should input it, efx front end or return. I’ve never given pedals that much thought TBH.
  4. Aye, I’m looking to split the chain and put one side of the AB Y thro the heads efx return, maybe that’s the place for the gate at the end. I’ve never gone into this before rather just popped them on or off with no regard to their role in the signal chain. All the pedals are sourced from here and as such are in good Nick. I have not tried them at all so far, that’s the next task while I wait for “Velcro” and the interconnects to attach them. Thanks for your input B
  5. Ha, it’s basically in that order except I have AB at the end and Gate after the tuner. Great that’s a start for me, thank you Doddy
  6. I have just rebuildindb my pedal board for the umpteenth time, all incarnations have been sold off (Pedal Peddler). In this, the definitive mode, I would like to put the pedals in a logical order. Your help and advice will be appreciated. 1st stop is a wireless interconnect followed by a Korg mini tuner. Now do I put my Compressor next, the noise gate next, the Electro Harmonic ABY? Or do I put the noise gate after all efx as the last pedal. With the exception of the POG and the ABY they are all mini pedals. In the chain there could be: Spectra comp, HOF, KORG mini tuner, Noise Gate, TC Shaker, TC Corona Chorus, Electro Harmonic Switch Blade and the POG. I’ll not keep both the Shaker and the HOF and I may add to it. Thanks
  7. I will consider part chops with cash my way, singly or together. I would be keeping these if it wasn’t for the uncertainty in my gigging life and the health issue. Thanks for looking
  8. These two cabs were listed, a deal made ( or so I thought ) then suddenly, cancelled, no go. So there’re up for sale reduced to £400.00 each, half price. They are just a bit cumbersome for me in my ‘delicate’ state, also I don’t know when, or if, I will be playing again. Photos with the HB400 (SOLD) to appreciate the size and stackability of the Straight cab topped by the Slant cab. I will consider a partial/full trade, barefaced Big Baby 2 or the super compact, cabs of that ilk.or an Ibanez SR fiver Snaps, should you require additional views don’t hesitate to ask. I’ll take more later. Genzler bumph. Power Handling - 350 Watts Frequency Response - 32Hz - 15KHz serious bottom end Sensitivity 1W/1M - 98 dB Nominal Impedance - 8 ohm Crossover Frequency - 4.7K Hz Weight LBs. 34lb/15.4kg Dimensions, H x W x D - 16" x 19" x 18" Cabs are for collection or meet up within 50 miles of Leicester ( on the M1 ). Available singly or together. Flat and Slopey. Thanks for looking.
  9. Health issues aside I intent to make an appearance, however it’s unlikely I’ll bring any kit. 😳

Bought Adam’s Big Baby 2, perfect packaging, arrived in immaculate condition. A good deal. Thanks Adam
  11. Bump for reduction NOW £800.00 for the two collected or meet up within 40 miles
  12. Check this out: https://www.musik-produktiv.com/gb/sandberg-california-vm2-darkhawk-5-bkb.html I paid £1,743.00 nearly 2 years ago, it’s not been played since our last gig February 2020. I’m moving to 34” scale, I have a fret less just want the fretted, spotted a bass I’m going to go for(that’s now gone) but would like to sell this first, preferably. Cash is the best incentive for me, however, I will consider a 5 string , 34” scale Ibanez SR 1805 ENTF as a part chop with cash my way. But, this bass is as new, your offering would have to be immaculate as well. Comes with gig bag and spanners! Strung with DR Black Beauties for the aestetics of much blackness. Courier to UK mainland at your expense, meet may be arranged within 50 miles, or trial and collection. I have an ABS Hard case I can supply at £50.00 (new) for transit. THANKS FOR LOOKING NOW £1,100.00
  13. HB400 Sold cabs still available at nearly half price but that’s delivered (U.K. Mainland) so half price. I’d look at a Super Compact as a part chop plus cash for the both.
