  1. Cheers Jo, its a joy alright!
  2. I just bought this beauty but I can already say this awesome bass is not my style. I have always wanted an Alembic but never really tried one - very interesting concept with their electronics (filter pre's etc) and their out of this world good craftmanship. However I now know that I really prefer the Fender/Musicman type of instruments. So this one is for trade with a nice Jazz Bass, Precision Bass or maybe another interesting 4-string. Alembic Rogue 4 with spalted maple top and mahogany body. Maple neck and thick ebony fretboard. Alembic filter preamp and Alembic pickups. All original. Used but in good shape! Everything works as it should and the bass is healthy and sound. Bass is located in Denmark and I will ship via UPS. 1850£
  3. Bought a lovely Alembic from Jo. Top class guy with the best basses around. Came safely packed a few days after he shipped. Smooth transaction. Thanks!
  4. Sorry
  5. Typo. Value in pounds is approx 1050 (£)

  7. Open to cash offers as well as trades. Cheers.
  8. The best Stingray 5 out there.. One of the early ones. If i remember correctly they started making the Stingray 5's in 87'. As you can see - the bass has been played. LOADS. Used but never abused. The reason for this is that the bass sounds amazing. Really! Everything is in 100% working condition. Truss, all mechanical pieces and electronics are in top shape. Recent refret. Neck is SUPER stable and is one of the nicest I have ever played. Very smooth and capable of REALLY low action. The bass currently sports a Bartolini MM replacement humbucker but I have the original still. So the bass is original. Another thing that makes this stand out is that it only weighs 4.2kg! Its a rarity on these basses. The usually are around 5kg mark. Very resonant, punchy and FAT sounding bass. Strung with Fodera 45-125 stainless. Trades: a nice 4 string. Would love a Jazz. Preferably a maple necked one. Active or passive.. I like both. Try me. 1450€ plus shipping. Bass is located in Denmark. Old beat up case included for safe shipping.
  9. Bought a lovely 76' Fender Mustang from Ash. Arrived today. Everything is as described or even better. Lovely piece of kit! Great comms, great price, great everything! Thank you mate!
  10. Long shot. I have these two beauties that I want to trade to either a US Lakland P bass type with a 1.5" nut width or the right 70's Fender Jazz Bass. If you have one of these basses I can trade you this amazing pair of basses: 1989 EB Music Man Stingray 5. The BEST S5 I have ever played. VERY light, 4.2 kgs! Neck is outta this world and a dream to play. Sounds FAT, punchy and just right! Right now with a Bartolini pickup, but the original MM pickup will be included. So 100% original. The other is a german built Hofner Club Bass from 2010 in mint condition. Got it off this forum a few months ago - Amazing bass, but would move it for a Lakland or vintage Jazz. Both comes with cases - the Hofner has that nice aluminum hardcase. More pictures on request. Basses located in Denmark. Ships via UPS.
  11. Andrew bought my 79' Music Man Stingray fretless. Great communication and prompt payment. A true gentleman. Thanks!
  12. Up for grabs is this perfect example of a "players" Stingray. It has something magical about the way that the notes jump off the fretboard! Such a warm, fat and very lively tone. It sustains for days with new strings. Sadly with the band and myself changing a bit of direction this now stands unused. And thats a shame! Its a clean and healthy bass with no issues. Truss, electronics and pickup, tuners and bridge. Everything is 100%. Lots of life left in the fretboard as well, even though the picture of the string wear looks a little weird. However as the picture shows the previous owner had it modded. Weirdly! I have no idea of what he was going for.. Maybe somekind of slap thing? Anyways I was about to have it "fixed" or restored by a master luthier who quoted me around 100pounds for pulling out the two frets, finding a matching piece of rosewood/pau ferro and then glueing that on and sanding and setting up the bass. So its a supposedly easy fix. Also need to mention that this mod has NO impact on the playability. The bass is relatively light compared to other late 70's Stingrays. 4.3kg on my kitchen scale. The bass is located in Denmark. I will ship the bass in a gigbag, securely packed in a cardboard box for the purpose via UPS 2-3 day. Price is 1550£ or trade with a nice Fender CS J or P or other high end fretted basses.
  13. Still here.. Reasonable offers accepted.
  14. Up for grabs is this AMAZING 93' Stingray. Perfect in every aspect. Super clean and healthy bass. I have never encountered such birdseye figuring on a bass before - honestly. It is spectacular. The lovely Pau Ferro fretboard is also in very good shape as the bass has been wearing flats for the most of its life. Also, VERY nice ash body. Bass is 4.5kg. And a pure tone beast. Funny thing is this one comes with a Music Man hardcase (pre-EB). They dont come better than this guys. Seriously! Asking 1200£ shipped. Bass is located in Denmark. Sorry about the "bad" pictures. Lighting is BAD - dull weather in Denmark at the moment.
  15. Awesome Ray' here folks!
  16. Still here and still awesome basses!
