  1. Roger has confirmed in the FB group that they have been released, although I can't see any of them anywhere in Europe.
  2. Dammit, I need more coffee. OK say 92 possible options means 8.3 trillion years.
  3. Assuming 56 alphabetic characters (all upper and lowercase letters), 10 numeric, and let's say 30 special as you suggest, that's 96 possible options per character entry. Assuming 10 characters, that gives us 96P10 or 4.093x10^19 possible combinations. Attempting them @ 1s would take something in the region of 12.8 trillion years. I'm guessing that computers might be able to do it slightly faster than this though...

  5. Or you could buy a Vintera 70s Jazz, paint it yourself and save yourself £500. Good work as usual, Fender!
  6. Nowhere Man - The Beatles
  7. It's the websites that say a password can't be more than 20 characters and can't contain any special characters that make me stabby.
  8. Firestarter - The Prodigy
  9. Are "friends" electric though?
  10. Hello! I have a practice amp for sale on here if you're just after something to play at home (Trace Elliot Boxer - link in my signature) /shameless plug
  11. If you get the option with MFA use a code generator like Authy, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc. as this is more secure than getting a text message (I forget the reason why though). 2FA Directory has a list of sites you can enable MFA on. Yes it's a pain to do, but that's kind of the point, and better a few extra seconds for you to enter a code than have your data compromised!
  12. Adding a space into your passwords makes them immensely more difficult to guess as well. So in the example above, making it June blue Golf bC1 is making it a lot more complicated. Harder to remember too, so the password manager idea is also worthwhile. You can also use the password manager to generate random passwords of whatever length you choose so you can use different passwords for every site. I use Bitwarden for my password manager, having left LastPass following their purchase by a company with less than stellar data protection practices, and would recommend it to anyone looking.

  16. That's very cynical* of you! (*accurate)
  17. You need to put *SOLD* in the post title to close it.
  18. Good to know in case I ever need to utilise my similar setup!
  19. No, I like both of my basses and try and rotate them so they both get playing/rehearsal time.
  20. My V7 2nd Gen is living on borrowed time now, frankly. I'm not seeing anything on the Warwick website yet but I may have the relevant pages there and on Thomann indefinitely open... Looks like everywhere is clearing out the current version though, and Guitar Guitar are even discounting a brand new Japanese ME to £1500 if anyone fancies it. https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/180206322265007-3697210--sadowsky-metroexpress-japan-rv4-black-me971. My guess is these are imminent.
  21. I had a set of the 45-105 strings on my Sire last year (managed to score some for 999 points on the D'Addario website) and they lasted me for six months including a very intense period of 3 months or so learning 20 songs for my current band. They're now my emergency "oh cripes I broke a string" set as they're still usable albeit a bit deader than I like. Definitely worthwhile if you can afford them, and they sound amazing.
