I assume they're aimed as competition to Squier, Sire and their ilk. As you say, if the QC issues are as bad as they seem they're going to struggle to make any kind of mark with this range, if it doesn't sink without trace first!
The Placentia series (yes, I thought it too) is different to the Tribute series and is supposed to be an even more budget G&L line. Sounds like they should be avoided like the plague though! I am still lusting after a Tribute L-2500 though...
Hi all,
Over the weekend my aunt messaged me to say she'd seen a local artist who utilised leftover guitar and bass strings to create jewellery. You can see what she does over at www.stringeffects.square.site. If you don't currently have an outlet for recycling your old strings, please consider getting in touch with Karen to see if she could use them (she's a one-person operation though so can't take bulk deliveries). You can do so on Facebook at @stringeffectsuk or on Instagram at @stringeffects.
Just wondering if someone has a spare cab corner protector similar to this as one of mine has come off and disappeared somewhere in transit to yesterday's band practice. While these are pretty cheap on t' internet at <£1, delivery costs I can see are usually £4 and above which is disproportionately expensive. If anyone has a spare one they could sell to and send me for a more reasonable postage cost it would be greatly appreciated.
Only a band as big as Fleetwood Mac would think of putting a practice amp in a full-on road case... https://www.julienslive.com/lot-details/index/catalog/443/lot/196249?url=%2Fauctions%2Fcatalog%2Fid%2F443%3Fpage%3D1%26catm%3Dany%26order%3Dorder_num%26xclosed%3Dno%26featured%3Dno%26key%3Dbass
