I like BX1 a lot but it's not so good and quite different then BX250. BX250 was magic. It's a pity Carvin never used its amazing preamp section (also considering BX1 is very similar to BX250 controls and features).

In 2024 Carvin has made a comeback in the world of bass amplification. BX1 Bass Preamp promises great sound and versatility with additional features such as compressor and FX Loop. Welcome back Carvin!

Very responsive and accurate. The switch is a little harder than that of the Cube babe. It's not as bright as a TC Electronics Polytune but it's quite good.

With Palmet Match 402 seems me it works great. No need a booster.
