new delay pedal?

Save another £20 and get a second hand DD-20. It is the definitive delay IMO.
4. Wait! You DO get a free starp. What ever one of those is...
5. You should report it to ebay. It's an attempt to defraud and ebay don't like fraud.
6.
I can have one made for you if you want Joe but might be pricey
Thanks Steve, I appreciate that: I think I'm looking for something slightly quicker. PM me with a little bongo review Cheers Joe
7. I'm doing a gig at the moment where there's alot of travelling and I only need my tuner, wireless reciever and an OD pedal. I'd really like an NYC pedalboards lunchbox: but the guy seems to have a fairly hefty lead time. Does anyone know anything else I could use? I've looked at alot of the plastic cases but they seem to have really uncomforatble handles. Cheers Joe
8. The most "Wolstemholme in a box" pedal that I've come accross yet is the Crowther Audio Prunes and Custard.
9. It has to be the whammy, surely?
10. Dood, I think waldo ment are we keeping the cockney slang and not going for the ******** out method - which is arguably more attractive and less intrusive.
11. The LOAD sets the input impedance of the pedal. That's why it works with active basses The BIAS adjusts within a parameter set by an internal trimpot the way in which the clipping diodes are biased against each other. Ergo: the specific sound of the pedal. IMO, more fuzzes should have a bias.
12. I'd recomend either the MI Audio GI fuzz, or the Zoom Ultra Fuzz. They both work great with active basses.
13. Are you thinking a 60's style smooth fuzz, or a more modern and industrial soudning fuzz?
14. Hi, S. It's an MSD Automagic Earthquake wah from silvermachine.de - the most flexible wah that I've ever used. It's £170, so to be blunt I'd ****ing expect it to be. Joe.
15. It's one of the seminal fuzz circuits?
16. Silicon fuzzes generally are fine. Germanium fuzzes generally are not fine. Generally. It depends on the specific build of each circuit. I find that MOST muff-style and MOST rat style circuits work fine with active basses. I find most Brassmaster / superfuzz / cheese circuits don't.
17.
ooo you nasty pasty! Lets go and raid the "meaningful" topics and offer opinions
I like you
18.
Jesus guys, this isnt talkbass youknow?
Yeah, they actually talk about gear over there...
19.
just out of interest, why did you choose this pedal to tour the uk? i would have thought it woulda been cooler to send round a more interesting effect, say a valvetone or a bob the blender
It's the newest pedal, and it's also quite innovative. There's nothing like it on the market & passive. Guys: I'm not being a control freak - but could I control the list? I already have the addresses (apart from Waldo's, PM me!) and I've already plotted out a little route for it to go. Joe will you let me know when you want to send it on? Good luck at Glasto?
20. McGiver, the light is no good here right now - I'll take some pics tomorrow for you.
the pickup active?
As far as I am aware no pickups are active apart from EMG's. It's the coupling of the pickup with an active preamp that makes a bass active.
21. PM send, Dave
22. Hi Jordan, Thanks for your post. Dimensions are 4.25" by 1.25". I'm unsure on the suitability for a Yamaha, but I will look for you. I'm not really interested in a trade, although I think your price is fair. Thanks. Thanks, Joe
23. Looks fantastic, congrats.

Been under the bed forever. £25 No name music man style 4 string pickup, bought for £50 would like to sell for £25 Home defret neck. Not a bad job, not a great job.
