1. I get the feeling that there will be a 12V adaptor for the diago PSU soon... That would power your DHA Thanks, Joe.
2. This is something that Steve Robinson "manchesterguitartech" is skilled with. He is also very competaively priced.
3. I have a pair of Bartolini P2 size soapbar pickups for 5 string. These are pair of great sounding, high-end pickups, that would be a great upgrade to almost any bass. They are very full sounding and really bring your bass to life. The best price I can find for the set is importing from the USA for $300 / £150. I'd like to sell these shipped in the UK for £80. Thanks, Joe.
4.
Look at the bottom of your posts, it already exists!
My eyes! My eyes!
5.
A serious suggestion for the mods to consider: lots of forums and blogs have a button at the bottom of posts to report anything that you consider offensive. This to my mind will be a better way of alerting the moderators to real problem areas or users, though it will probably make more work. Whaddyathink?
Sounds like a great idea
6. I like the Schaller, but I'm interested to see what Muppet has to say
7. The doom one is my favourite
8. I sold mine relatively easily for £900 shipped on ebay. It was a J2000
9. Can you reply to other threads in the "site news" subforum? JP.
10.
It's not a preamp per sey but a halfrackmount distortion or second channel for your current setup.
Fixed
11. Andi Allan at monkey FX?
12.
Depending on the depth of your pockets, I've heard good reports about the Mutron and Crowther's Prunes & Custard. Hamster
In terms of weird odds and sods these are both good pedal to try out. The Mutron is amazing and the P+C is very fun, neither are a ring mod. The best ringmod out there, IME, is the Frostwave Blueringer... the Mooger is also excellent, especially with an CV pedal.
13. It's really the cable from the last pedal to the amp that you need to watch for length. I wouldn't recommend going over 20 ft without a line driver / high qualitdeee buffer.
14. I guess that it's my 3.1 cents worth.
15. The Ashdown effects won't be around for long... if you ask me.
16. Maths for the win.

Sans amp

I see more and more bassists dispensing with a live rig and just using a sansamp.
18.
However, it won't make it worse or add hum as some cheap power supplies do.
Interesting, sounds like quite the bargain. The new BBE Supa-Charger looks like a PP2 killer to me.
19. I've just been thinking, what would you use a male to male connector for? (please no knob gags)!
20. Yes, it seems "someone" has been playing with the permissions again. I wonder what they've got to hide sometimes. Why not PM Kiwi and ask him? (I just can't say that without smiling)
21. David.... PM sent with enquiry.
22. Jeepers, that's a beauty. Almost exactly what I'm gassing for right now...
23. Where did you buy from dood?
24. Two things to say: 1) Read up on your distance selling laws. Wood&tronics and you are both covered by them since you're both in the EU. They favour you. Know your legal rights. http://www.oft.gov.uk/advice_and_resources...ng-regulations/ 2) I love my Epifani gear. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any of their cabs again. My UL310 is perfect in ever way.
25. Righteous indignation overpowering my reading ability Points well made Hamster.
