1. I know this is sold but I'm looking for some user feedback. I play in a loud rockband, and when we're working on new songs it'd be great to be able to put something like this in the middle of the practice room and record a "take" that we can then distribute by email in-between-practices so we can avoid that "what did it go like last week" syndrome. Would this be suitable? We've tried doing this on our phones but the mic gets totally distorted with anything other than acoustic guitar and vocals - and I'd really like to do it with guitar/guitar/bass/drums/vocals but still get a "cleanish" recording.
2. Played at Carpe Diem, Leeds last night with my band. We went on last, so it was nice not having to play infront of stacks of other people's gear. We really gelled well and performed really tightly. Guitar solos were brighter, vocals were sweeter, and drumming was massive - you know the good gig feeling. The promoter has said he'll give us a Saturday slot next time which will be great - the bar is always packed on a Saturday. Probably the best gig I've ever done.
3. I use TI Powerbass on my Jazz Basses and I haven't considered using anything else since I put my first set on.
4. Man that's cheap. Good look with the sale!
5. I sold mine here for £150. £500 is mental. Sorry. The way, IMO you'll get the best price is list it in ebay for some Justin Chancellor fan boi to pick it up. Joe.
6. Seriously Chris, I'm fed up of this. Get over my place and try the IP rig out - or wait until July 12th and try the IP and an ae410!
7. OBBM!
8.
Heard the Spotify advert for this particular album... went something along the lines of "Plan B - the gritty update to Marvin Gaye and Curtis Mayfield". That alone made me want to hit my head against the wall. Not a great fan but agreed... some rather cool bass lines.
I couldn't agree with you more! Still a good album!
9. If you bought it new a year ago it will still be covered under warrenty.
10. Bump for a sweet bass - pm'd keith
11. Plan B - "The Defamation Of Strickland Banks" - I've been enjoying this album recently, mainly from the bass perspective. It's really good t hear modern chart music with tasty bass guitar playing on. Does anyone know who played bass on this record?
12. The Aguilar EQ is passive - so yes it's right that you don't get sound when all the knobs are zero'd. Where did you have the bass and treble boost switches set?
13.
Looks lovely until you see the back, then it looks half-finished! Wasn't this one something like £25,000?
That belongs to a friend of mine. It is a fabulous guitar.
14. My Berg IP doesn't have any lights on the front to confirm it's on, so many times I've replaced all my rack cabling with the spares I carry trying to find a duff lead before I realise that I forgot to .... turn the amp on.

16. The bass is quality and in great nick. I can't imagine anyone will ever get the opportunity to buy a Midibass and the Midisystem, original hardcase and MIDI cables, again - it's like a Wal treasure trove! I'm sorry that this didn't work out for me but I know it will for someone. Feel free to ping me a PM if anyone has any questions about the bass.
17.
and I'm sorry to say about other builders - The Shuker is better made too in comparison.
For example, specifically - what basses are less well made than Shukers?
18. Things I didn't need to hear, number 1:
PS - There is another very cool Bergantino cab coming out soon......
19. There will be someone geographically close to you on this forum with one for you to try.
20.
Two days later I get an email telling me I play too many notes for the material and I'd have to really cut down if I wanted to join? Eh? I wasn't auditioning matey and anyway, YOU failed my audition ...
S'always a laugh isn't it OG. Damn you and your too many notes!
21.
Last night's in Idle was incident free , though enjoyable , but Thurs in Baildon was memorable for me knocking over a flood light and setting fire to the pub. Anyone playing there (The Malt Shovel) the black patch in the carpet is my fault !!
Wish I'd know, I'd have come up. That's about 200 yards from where I live!
