4.
The next bass come from UVA This is the Thor Memnock Signature Model Extreme! Fretless with a 32 'fret' neck with extended cutaways EMG Pickup and Seymor Duncan electronics. Custom built for Memnock of the band Susperia. There is a standard Thor model which isn't as extreme. Also some other interesting basses on the site but they only appear to exist as concepts at the moment.
\m/
5. FOOK ME!!!! thats is NIIIICCCEEEE. How much then?
6. I have to admit thats pretty effing cool, sparkles are always good if you ask me!!!!!
7. but why? seriously, WHY?
8. Squier really have been producing some good new basses and I think its excellent because not enough of cheap bass brands are producing half decent quality basses, especially with the choice to a new player who hasnt got the experience or knowledge.
9. I play upright stuff on electric, just get the song and the music sheet and your there!!! And with my Stingray I can get pretty close to a nice double bass sound with dead strings.
10.
Im lookin for around £1950.
cos £2000 just too greedy
11. WOW the AD bass looks sex, but maybe with a different colour? And I wonder with a headstock would it look even BETTER?!?!?
12. They all seem pretty bad tbh....One good Idea is to take the name of a song by another band, like Ten Thousand Thrones or Gravemakers and Gunslingers or something. Btw they're songs by Testament and Coheed and Cambria FYI
13. What bands u in atm?
14.
Hell yeah it was a TURBO diesel, a whole 1.9 litres of power. Actually it was pretty rapid. Fell apart later that term because of rust. Those shoes did too, both soles came off simultaneously in the middle of the town with no warning whatsoever.
Shame, I love old volvo's, most are indestructable mo-fo's!!!! If Im gonna run down a police officer, I'd use a volvo, not some ponsy french thing....
15. aerodynes are good-uns. Thunderbirds always carry a great punch, but the gibson ones are more than 300 used and I dont think much of epiphone basses
16.
Prob my fave Ritter bass. You might like my old Volvo's rear window sticker, too:
never mind the sticker, thats a beaut ride! Volvo, in white, could you want more?! Is it a diesel?
17.
in the very unlikely event that he got one and decided to sell it. he'd probably sell it quite quickly to someone like me who thinks it's one of the best looking designs of modern production
lol fair play
18.
When I started this thread, my original intention was only to post instruments that were in production. However over the last few weeks I've been building up GAS for one of these: It's a Reverend Brad Houser 5 string. Dual humbuckers, 35" scale length, retro/modern styling and a finish called Lava Swirl (obviously inspired by Kai's Powertools Texture Explorer Photoshop plugin!) For more check the Reverend Bass Archieve Gallery Unfortunately at the moment Reverend aren't making any basses, so my best bet is a daily check of the TalkBass sales forum and the hope that I can find one that the seller is willing to ship out of the US. However there is a rumour circulating around the Reverend forums that bass production might be back next year...
Soon enough you'll want to sell it though and you wont be able to because it is absolutley horribly fugly
19. thats fugly lol
20. Let him go with his heart and when you look for a tutor make sure you find one that will teach him theory as well as well as sight reading? Seems the perfect solution? maybe...
21.
The Squier Vintage Modified Jazz basses are getting a lot of mentions at the moment and they're a lot less than your £400.
+1
22. Go to a decent music shop with a bass tech or go to your lecturer/teacher to look over, a professional hand does wanders, sorry I could offer nothing else!
23.
I did work out vanishing for 4 string bass. If im not too lazy i can ptab it for you (ill try my best anyway)
I wouldnt want you to go through a strain!! lol, I find half the fun is figuring it out for yourslef, and you DO learn more that way, its a fact!
24. Your the One that I want - Grease lol, always gets a few looks, but then you have to follow it up with Master of Puppets or Blood and Thunder
