1.
Hi pass filters confuse me does that mean nothing above 250Hz gets through or nothing below it, either way why would a bass player want a channel with a 250Hz hi pass? especially with an 11 band eq section, just curious
Hi pass filters allow frequencies above the selected frequency through and attenuate those below it.
2. SOLD - Kustom Deep End 210H speaker 200 watt cab in good condition. Infinite baffle (sealed enclosure) for controlled punchy bass. This cab was included within a single lot of equipment I recently purchased here but is surplus to my needs (I have four other 210 cabs!). It is as well built as any cab I've owned and amazing value even at the new price of £150 so £45 collected or localish delivery from Hertford is a steal. Components: 2 x 10" Speakers and high frequency piezo horn Max. SPL: 127 dB Impedance: 8 Ohm Carry handles on both sides Dimensions (H x W x D): 41.9 x 58.4 x 40 cm Thanks for looking.
3. Have you considered moving in with a girlfriend with a bigger flat? 🙄
4. With every passive jazz that I have owned (or played) having both volume controls at max at the same time results in a rounder less forward tone. Backing just one of the volume controls off by about an eighth to a quarter turn will bring the character of the other pickup much more to the front and sounds punchier. I think this is totally normal.
5.
OF. an lfttttrseeom morning ytyjjywqwtn. Xc fdgtdrry
I couldn't agree more.
6. Probably worth adding your location to the original post so that those reading it don't have to search further down.
7. +1 Make sure the Flat/Shape button is pushed in. When it's in the out position you are scooping the mids and losing definition. From there you should be able to get almost any sound you want with the 7 band EQ.
8. Not sure that 3 tubes constitutes an amplifier? Should probably be listed in the other stuff for sale forum.
9. I owned one for a couple of years and it was only replaced by the much larger Markbass std104hf. As a sealed cab the hydrive 410 has a more controlled bass response which was great. They are fairly efficient tòo so I wouldn't worry about having enough amp, 300 watts will be plenty. If you need more volume just get another hydrive 410.
10.
He needs to keep the 15 and swap the 10 for an 8 ohm cab, to give a combined load of 4 ohms.
His 15 is 4 ohms already, so adding an 8 ohm cab won't work for the above mentioned reason.
11. Can I ask why you replaced the cooling fan please? Thanks.
12. These events sound like the amplifier protection circuits coming into operation (correctly) when they sense a dangerous overload situation for the amp and connected speaker. I have only experienced this once when driving a 4 ohm load with a 500w class D head at high volume. Were you pushing the amp/cab too loud perhaps?
13. Haha. I don't think there are that many in existence. Shifting nine should be a televised strong man challenge.
14. Thanks for the update. I wish I was strong enough to lug mine to gigs.
15. Might be worth adding the new price in your original post so it's clear. Lookers might not bother to scroll down.
16.
Bump, i feel like this is a fair price, am i wrong?
This looks like a first generation MBE212. Google that for indicative prices when they were new.
17. If you refitted all the original parts and listed the replacements in the other music related stuff for sale forum, you would most likely be able to reduce the price of this bass to an irresistible price and get more money back overall.
18. What year was it manufactured please? Cheers
19. Can you advise what year the TA503 was made please. The month and year of manufacture are on a label on the rear face. Many thanks.
