1. I haven't actually looked at what crossover is used in my traveller 121H cab but others have said it is the same as the one in the CMD121H and CMD121P combos. If that is the case then this crossover works with 8ohm loads. The stock tweeter is so bad that I just don't understand why MB fit it. The small ht horn is much more refined and just adds a nice level of clarity to the top end. I haven't had the opportunity to use it at full volume yet to see if anything fails but I will report back when I have. I'm sure that if any of the other people who have fitted an ht30 had a problem they would've told us.
 2.
Hmmmm, you're going to make me do it!
£10.94 including delivery from CPC Farnell. Just do it.
 3. I have replaced the stock tweeter with an HT 30 and it's killed that annoying hiss and doesn't spit and ring like the original. Sounds much much better. The top end is now the same as my other horn fitted MB cabs. Best £11 upgrade you can make on a £600 combo IMO.
 4.
Not sure what else to put up about it as it is what it is.
How about some photos of it?
 5.
No takers?
No pictures won't help.
 6.
This is an absolute steal of an amp, if I didnt already have the 500 watt version, I'd be all over this. Mine was originally in a combo (1 x 15), but was too heavy for my elderly back, so bought an amp sleeve from Ashdown to put it in. I paid £880 ish about 10 years ago, and that was a good price at the time for these quality hand made English amps. Still sounds really great, and prefer it to my Marshall VBA or my mates Ampeg SVT.
I agree. I have owned more amps than I can remember and this one has everything from a blendable valve pre, fully featured switchable EQ with variable octaver and 300 proper British watts which probably equate to a thousand of those weedy non British digital ones ;-)
 7. Where are you please?
 8.
Arggh - this is perfect for my recently revived Inner Andy Fraser - I'm in Cheshire, though, too far to pick up. Any chance of a rethinking re posting it?
PM replied to. Cheers.
 9.
have a bump on me even though i'm too far away to buy it from you
Cheers
 10. Looks like schaller strap lock buttons are fitted, do you still have the original ones please?
 11. Paul bought my homemade cabs recently. Really pleasant guy who like most of us is trying to reduce risk of injury by using lighter cabs where possible. Thanks Paul.
 12. Bought a fantastic bass from Jason. He couldn'thave been more helpful and trusting. I look forward to buying from Jason again soon. Top man.
 13.
Do the 300's have a pre-amp valve like the 500's?
Yes, it has a 12AX7
 14. Bought a USA 2011 P from Lozz today and he was even kind enough to deliver it to me on the way home from a footie match. Pleasure to buy from.
 15. Thanks Jimmy, I am reluctant to post it as I don't have any experience of sending large things. I will investigate shipping next week and update my post if it works out. Cheers
