Empress Bass Compressor - great condition, one very small nick on one of the bottom corners. Otherwise all good. This is Serial Number 85 - so one of the batch afflicted with the LED clicking noise (https://support.empresseffects.com/support/solutions/articles/1000305133-does-my-bass-compressor-need-a-ribbon-cable-replacement-). However, it is never had a problem, so have never requested the fix. Comes in original box with manual. There's velcro tape on the bottom currently. Postage can be arranged at buyers expense. Cheers for looking!

This has been my spare amp for a while - have had it since new for a couple of years, but its seen very little use. It's a really decent little amp in great condition. The passive/active switch is labelled the wrong way round, which is a "feature" of many of these amps, but it works fine. https://www.tcelectronic.com/product.html?modelCode=P0CQS for all the blurb Postage can be arranged at cost. Cheers for looking!

Saturnworks three way bass splitter - £70 posted

It's a three-way active signal splitter - the bass-specific version. It does what it does very well, without fuss. In excellent condition. Given the pathetically weak pound, these are currently bonkers money, not to mention the long wait times. You can skip all of that by buying this one instead! The price includes postage. Manufacturer blurb: Split your signal up to three ways without tone or level loss. The Saturnworks 3-way active splitter uses four separate buffers, one for each output, to ensure that the signal on each of the four outputs is strong and clear. The 3-way splitter can also be used as a 2-way splitter, with the extra capacity there if you need it. The Saturnworks 3-way active splitter is handcrafted in the USA with the highest quality components available. The active 4-way splitter runs on standard 9v DC center negative power with a Boss-type 2.1mm power jack.

Darkglass Vintage Microtubes, great condition. Bought from @admiralchew fairly recently (July?), not made it onto my board long term so moving it on. Does what it says on the tin really! Its a very good unit with some great tubey sounds, but I've other pedals that are very close to it. Comes in its box with manual etc. Free velcro attached to back of pedal Darkglass Blurb Cheers for looking

Here's a lovely, very distinctive Ibanez SR1400, in Mojito Lime Green. I purchased it brand new from Andertons in 2019. It's in very good condition, it has been gigged a few times but always well looked after. Some minor player wear on the pickup covers, no chips, dents or dings that I could find anywhere on the guitar. It comes with a fitted Ibanez semi-hard case. Its really nice to look at and sounds and plays great (neck in particular is great), but I have no need for it currently. Some specs: NECK: Atlas-4 5 piece Wenge/Bubinga neck with KTS TITANIUM rods SCALE: 864mm/34" BODY: Figured Maple top/Mahogany body FRETBOARD: Rosewood FRETS: Medium frets with Premium fret edge treatment NUMBER OF FRETS: 24 BRIDGE: Mono-rail V bridge (19mm string spacing) PICKUPS: Nordstrand "Big Single" 4 neck pickup (Passive) EQ: Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ w/EQ bypass switch (passive tone control on treble pot) & Mid frequency switch HARDWARE: Gold NUT: Graph Tech BLACK TUSQ XL nut Located in Peebles, Scottish Borders, but open to postage (at cost of buyer). Any questions please let me know.

I bought a Sandberg bass from Graham. Communication was great, he helpfully answered questions before I bought it. The bass itself was exactly as described, very well packaged for transit, and was posted promptly. Thanks Graham!

Thanks for the reply - that's really helpful. I've got the DG tone capsule in a couple of other basses, which is what initially caught my eye with this one. I really like it, especially good for metal but actually it works for a wider range of music than you'd expect. The hi-mid knob is a shelved boost, so as you say, the pre can do trebley tones even without a "treble" pot. It sounds as though the Darkhawk has had a few mods from the Nighthawk to make it even more characterful. I do wonder if this is a little bit at the expense of its versatility though. Maybe a Nighthawk would be a better fit here, since I've already got the two DG-equipped basses. Or something else entirely! Decisions decisions. Thanks again!

sorry to hijack the thread briefly, but i'm wondering about buying a Sandberg. A five string Darkhawk. anyone got an experience with them? there's not a lot of feedback online about them. cheers!
