    Tight and focussed highs and mids, with warm chocolatey lows. I was worried about it’s weight being an issue with resonance, but it has plenty of low end.

    With the help of the impeccable service of Andy at Andy Baxter Bass, I’ve taken delivery of this beauty. It’s a Sandberg TT Superlight in tobacco burst with custom inlays. My Lakeland basses weigh about 10lbs plus, but this is only over 6lbs. My old back thanks me. Give Andy’s website a visit, you’ll be glad you did.

    I told them I could be coming over with cash next week, and asking their address. Suddenly the bass was being sold to someone else 😂

    There’s a couple in Shetland Isles, off Scotland, selling a 1968 Fender Jazz for £750 on Facebook marketplace. I’ve communicated with them and they seem decent people, but my bank won’t release the funds because they are concerned it’s a scam. Maybe one of my bass buddies live close enough to pop over there and bag themselves a bargain?

    The new cabs seen to be made out of formed Polystyrene/Styrofoam covered in a thin vinyl. Yes, they're lightweight, but I'm not sure they'll stand up to the rigours of touring.
