1. For sale is my SWR Baby Blue original combo, I've had it a good while, probably 20 years and it's only been used as a practise amp in the house.

From the web:
BABY BLUE
The Baby Blue Studio Reference Bass System was developed for the discerning professional bass player in need of a superior small bass rig for studio applications and smaller venues. The Baby Blue is a self contained system that delivers 120 Watts into two 8 inch speakers and a 5 inch cone tweeter. The speaker system in the Baby Blue was patterned along the lines of studio reference monitors and is quite unique to the musical instrument field.

Size: 14.5"W x 24.5" x 12.5"D
Weight: 45 lbs.
Production Period: 1990 to 1993

It needs a speaker replaced as the last one of the originals in there has crumbled so I have a brand new Emminence to put in as soon as I get a spare minute. Then it should be in perfect working order but obviously will test it first and confirm, and also add some photos.

Thanks,

Phil

2. Hi guys,

I'm selling my Markbass Tube 800 amp with matching Markbass amp bag, full specs here:

http://www.markbass....tail.php?id=101

500w at 8ohms and 800w at 4 ohms, very small & compact at 2.8kgs

3 years old in perfect working condition, I've had it from new.

It had a small drop a few months back landing on one edge so a couple of small scuffs and a new gain pot needed as a result – this was replaced and the amp serviced professionally and is now working fine.

Can be tried out before purchase in north London N7 or N22

Photos to follow.

Thanks for looking,

4. Anyone local to north London, we're playing here tonight, we have a monthly residency and it's free entry !!

18 piece band, swing, funk, latin, a few vocal numbers - usually a really good crowd there who have just realised what an awesome sound a big band makes and it's suddenly their favourite music - for one night anyway ! :-)

9pm kick off or thereabouts:
