I bought a Sandberg California 5string light from Bass Direct Warwick it is made from Paulowmia wood the paint is Mat black and you can see the wood grain through the paint however the back has marked really badly and appears to be so soft if you touched it it marks the shop blamed it on me I never use a buckle or a belt I’ve never marked any bass and traded in two bass in mint condition I’ve also contacted Sandberg and they won’t do anything even though this is my third Sandberg the possible cause I could be the heat any ideas
