  1. Every Praise Hezekiah Walker -(album edit) Break Every Chain feat. Deitrick Haddon William Murphy- You Have Won The Victory/The Anthem lyrics*
  2. The bass drum having been cut has a clip on plastic port ( I think a Gibraltar one) put into it and has a bass drum specific mic into it recommended by the PMT tech guys. The floor tom is not cut and has a mic on the batter head as do all the other drums and the Congas and talking drum. At this time they don't have their own separate inline mixer but with the amount of mics involved I think they will have to go there sooner or later. Its all still a learning curve for us all and I suppose it always will be.
  3. They are great drummers we have but they didn't know how to cut the port on a new drum kit the church bought. I own the tool that does the job so cut it for them and we refitted it before the service. I am spoiled really as they are African drummers and would be very difficult to fault. Their rhythms are fantastic and stretched me when I was first invited to become their bassist but they are fantastic guys and get on and get things done. Sorting out lighting rigs, Putting P A stuff out including sharing time on the digital mixer as well as mic up their own drums and setting up mics for singers etc Come to think of it 🤔 are they really drummers at all 🤨
  4. I've seen guitarist worship leaders who have accused more than one drummer of not keeping time when they themselves were the ones trying to speed up. They were not even aware of their own bad timing. It's called being a control freak in those circumstances.
  5. One of the best bassist I have known was classical trained and played a basson. We tend to think of a bass guitar as bass end of but it's not. It is only one of the instruments that create bass notes. Many styles don't include slap etc
  6. Buys the first round Buys the second round Buys the third round No seriously 1 Helps the drummer set up the drums and teaches him how to cut the port in his bass drum. Then cuts it for him anyway. 2 Looms over the drummer making eye contact to make sure we are playing nice tight together rythms. 3 Does the same to both the conga player and the talking drum player. 3a Then goes over and looms over the keyboard players to make sure we are all playing in time and in the same key. 3b Teaches the guitarist how a clip on tuner works and gives him a wireless set so as to have less leads all over the place. Then teaches him about bar chords in the hope he will get rid of his dummy er I mean Capo😂🤗
  7. Do you think that is because most go into it thinking it is a short cut into playing an instrument when it isn't. Anything but.
  8. Quite right. As you say we can adjust. However he still has to have the frets put in or it won't be fretted it will still be fretless.
  9. He isn't talking about defrets he is talking about adding frets and hence removal of existing fret markers on the side and replacement of different placed fretmarkers on the side and face. Lot of detailed work in that to trust to a I can do it body. No disrespect but it is not going to be cheap.
  10. Mine have no lines but have fret markers on the edge in the right place. That conversion is going to cost you if and when they get it right. Money and chances comes to mind. Guys out there offering set ups for £10. Yeh who works for 50% of f**k all per hour. Those who can do ha ha I can do I can do I can do. Good go wreck someone else's guitar.
  11. Agreed to all If allowed a fifth. An inclination to sleep with the bass player as my wife is a drummer🤣
  12. It might cost you as much to have it fretted as to buy a bitsa fretted neck and still destroy it's value as a vintage piece.
  13. I have Weston Specrum LX's sold with two necks from new in a special case only in the catalogue for one year. The Westone solution was to have threaded inserts into the necks which are fitted with allen bolts
  14. From what is on the internet it does look like the white version of a Jupiter with the 3 controls and soap bar or jazz style pickups. Very difficult to tell from that angle
  15. I agree with the above. Wood glue is stronger than wood. Push it in there under force with a syringe using industrial needles made especially for lab work and glue injection. The hydrualic effect will force it everywhere and be far more effective than trying to trickle it in. Then clamp it.
  16. Absolutely right I predate you by 26 years. Great place to spend some time and get encouraged whilst learning as well.

Thank you I will look him up, as well. This is great😀
  20. You are probably right. I have offered my ideas to the OP with pictorial evidence of what is out there. If he can't find one to help out the weight problem. If he cant he can borrow mine. Maybe he was not the original poster in which case I apologize in advance. We are at page 20?

I have no idea who he is but I know what he does is play a sax like no other and its great staccato sax amazing
  22. I remember trying one out in Denmark St in London before I chopped the end off my left hand forefinger and thinking the carved top sits far too high and makes it almost unplayable for us mere mortals. The guys that can get the best out of one of them deserve everything they get. oops Even if they have got 6 strings sorry
