I have a simple Squier p bass 50 anniversary edition made in the Yako factory. Found it on Gumtree less than 20 miles from my home £50. Gave it a setup including neck shim. Fabulous to play. Great sound really nice eye/ear opening bass Can't imagine paying 50k for a bass. It would cost me less to learn the last few extra skills to make my own. As a side note. Every time a celebrity buys a high priced collectors instrument everyone gets to hear about it in the media. Giving them millions worth of free publicity Think about it?

Maybe one of these https://www.lomaxcars.co.uk/range/

How about just never returned it. Tools for example 2 wheel barrows 2 custom made hardwood saw horses A brand new hydraulic engine crane 2 electric car polishers A sanding machine Car ramps Numerous small hand tools alen keys, spanners, measuring equipment etc. Vehicle service tools including spring compressors both valve and suspension. Plenty more I can't remember right now. Plus instrument cables. Wireless instument sets. Shure headset microphone. Yamaha reverb unit and Mackie digital quality 12 channel mixer (got stolen) S**t I must be a mug. Could buy a very nice bass to lend out with that little lot 😂

With reference to your frozen shoulder. I had issues with freezing shoulders both arms in my 20,s Cortisone injections into the shoulder joints completely cured it over a period of time. Has your doctor given you that solution? If not chase them up. Hope to hear you get better Just to qualify in my case it was referred to as painful arc syndrome i.e a swelling of the tisses in the shoulder joints.

I have used various types in the past that are good but can wear and fail including schaller and the ball pin type. I now tend to use these https://www.amazon.co.uk/DUNLOP-STRAP-acoustic-electric-guitar/dp/B001O7TDLK/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=Dunlop+Strap%2BLocks&qid=1681106282&s=musical-instruments&sr=1-4 Quite often you get extras in the pack. They are easy to fit, last well and do a great job. They also allow the bass to fit into it's case without taking the strap off. Although they are just plastic and cheap I haven't known these to fail. Some of them can be stiff to turn on occasion when new but a tiny bit of wd40 or other lube will sort that out easily. I have also used the rubber bottle seal type which are very effective and reliable but a bit of a pig to put on. Just check them for perishing regularly. They have never failed either. All that glitters is not gold.

I had one of them and before that a dyane. We used to wizz around the fields of the farm where I worked at the time. It used to go where the landrover couldn't. It just skimmed over the top of wet muddy gate openings. Fabulous cars if only they didn't need welding every year or or two. Didn't have the money to buy a galvanised chassis for it.

Is a new mass-produced bass ever worth more than £1500

Or a through neck 😂 Point is then Fender fans wouldn't buy them. -

Had a look at your videos. Very encouraging you seem to have a similar format at Skylark to Vineyard where I am now. I subscribed so I can see more of your services and get more time in praise and the messages.

Absolutely this. A professional will buy what he wants because he knows it will pay for itself and then go on to earn him more. -

Agree absolutely! At the time they were just mass produced instruments. At the time they were also the best basses money could buy and the only one fit for purpose to record by all accounts. All the others were rubbish and sounded like suitcases with a neck glued or tacked on or even worse. Others grabbed that idea and ran with it but it took years to happen and catch up. I am not a Fender fan but credit where it is due. The design has won me over just in the last year. Before that I never even owned one. Don't get me wrong a Westone Thunder or Spectrum LX or 2 (see my avatar) still make a P bass sound like a toy but they came much later (and didn't bribe the right people). Joke. -

Which came first the Fender or the boutique? Leo was a genius and nearly everything that has come since has been built in the wake of his ideas. He built the cake. Others are now putting their own version of the icing on it. -

Did I use the word complete. It would have needed some welding as all rot boxes built in those days did but it was there. I don't suppose you think you could have picked up a Tiger 110 or BSA Goldstar or a 650 Roadrocket for about £100 either? But you could 🤣 -

People reach for the card instead of the calculator when making a purchase. They have no idea what the true (i.e compound interest rate) is on what they are borrowing. Banks have been paying us almost no interest on what we have in our accounts and yet they are lending it back to credit card holders at **% per month not year per month Unpaid balances are added to the pot and the interest then becomes compound. We have been debt free for some years whilst we know of many who are paying high rates on handfuls of cards with little chance to escape that debt trap. Years ago money could only be printed to the value of the gold held by a country or bank or whatever. They moved the goal posts on that and now print out whatever they can get away with. There is nothing to back it up. It is chasing the wind. Countries without their own manufacturing in place are in trouble unless they find ways to manipulate a false economy.

When I were a lad in my teens you could find a Porsche in the Exchange and Mart for between £100 and £150. Same car today has added noughts -
It's usually printed by Van, der graph generator

I don't think you can blame Brexit. Price pushing failed there as much as they would have liked so enter Covid a worlwide plague. Yep that did it. Boris announced outside 10 downing st I have to level with you! It is going to get worse before it can get better. I knew exactly what he was saying and who to. Those that don't understand I apologize. Those that do. Love you and wish you my version of well as in freedom

Absolutely. Love my LX euro 5. But is it really classed as mass produced compared to other brands. The build quality is astonishing.
