    I've lasted 3 and a half months without wanting to sell mine so far and hope that I never will. I read something interesting today over onTalkbs - the neck on these was a sort of prototype before production of the Geddy Lee moved to Mexico. Whether true or not its still interesting thoery

    They were neck and neck with the Chilis until Under the Bridge then it was game over. So unfortunate as MIke Patton is vastly superior a singer to Anthony Keidis. Loved Jim Martin on guitar as well I still love FNM and listen to them regularly.     Depending on what I have with me I'll either play octaves but using thumb and index finger to play two notes at once, I sometimes use a pick and play root - firth - octave chords or use a Boss OC-2

    Steve Moore is a really nice guy. I've spoken to him on Facepalm and was really surprised that the took the time out to reply to something I'd asked him. Makes something that is so simple to play look so complicated

    After skimming through this the band sound like a bunch of C You Next Tuesdays I was once kicked out of a band when I was 17 and it took me a very long time to become entirely comfortable with another band. The reason for kicking me out: I played too much, the track: Sit Down by James. To this day I refuse to play that song. The guy who kicked me out was one of these singer/songwriter w@nkers who has gone on to star in no such less hit concerts as " helpout a brother, I'm sh!te" and "I've no talent, get me out of here".     A shameless plug but I'm selling a Gallien Krueger MBS-III combo. Its tiny so it'll sit in the corner or your room out of the way. Its 100w on its own or you can buy the matching cab to give the full 150W or you can plug it into the cab(s) of your choice by disconnecting the internal speaker. Even comes with its own bag for carrying around.

    I've decided to have a rethink and for now I am keeping my Hartke head and Ashdown cabs so I am now only selling my Gallien Combo. When this sells then I will probably offer my Hartke head for sale again. This is something that I didnl't realise how amazing it was until I bought one -a Gallien Krueger MBS-III combo. This little combo is not much bigger than the 12" speaker it houses. You can use this as a monitor, mount it on a microphone stand bracket (if you can find one), add a second 12" speaker or disconnect the internal speaker and plug it into the cab or cabs of your choice down to 4ohms. You can also disconnect the internal speaker and plug a set of headphones into it to practice with. This puts out something like 100w into its own internal speaker or 150w with another 8ohm cab. Like all GK stuff the rating appears to be a bit conservative and for the size this is one loud little combo This dinky little combo also comes with a Rockbag so you can carry it safely to gigs in the car or on the bus/tram/tube/whatever. It has two side pockets and a front one for cables and stuff. This also comes with a power cable. There are a few marks and it looks like its had a wee knock to the front left that I've tried to show in one of the pictures. These retail at about £550 without a gig bag so I'm going to offer this one for £350 collected or £360 posted. And now the piccies: And lastly, to give you an idea exactly how small this combo is, voila:

    What I meant was that there's a really hot signal going from my bass to my amp which doesn't distort but the signal going to the desk is off the scale so no need for an attenuator or pad button on the wireless unit for me

    My Precision causes the lights on the PA desk to go all the way up to the top red one so we have to use the pad switch to calm it down a bit and I haven't got the slightest hint of distortion, even when I'm playing really heavily
