Yes. Quite a lot more. And they may not stack particularly well due to the lack of Feet/cup things... Someone please buy this cab before I am tempted to do something silly. Don't suppose you would accept a thirteen year old boy in part exchange?
Looks great!! Here's mine - a Thunder IIIb Fretless, all original. G.
Put that away Dammit. One of the few basses on the forum that still gives me GAS and I don;t even do fretless anymore

Teleporter accident, two basses melded into one. The horror..

So is it left or right handed? I'm assuming the neck dive would be so bad you'd have to play it with the neck pointing towards the floor -
I think I've seen Level 42. Can't be sure.
Bad acid or repressed memory? -
it needed to be said. Anyway - GK heads are very good. Never tried the cabs mind though I fancy trying the neo 2x12" cabs but I think 6 changes of bass rig in a year is bordering on silly so I may wait until next year

you can't handle the fact that others think something is good when you think it is not i have not problem with someone not liking my gear, in fact I could not give two f***s about it You simply could not get your head around the fact that people were posting clips of what they thought were good sounding 2x15" cabs. You had to diss them as being wrong. Adding IME, IMO etc does not give you the right to tell everyone that they're wrong IMO, you're being a dick

After one of my trademark quick changes of mind, the 2x10" that I bought off the forum here last week is back up for sale. One of the carpet covered 2x10" 200w 8ohm cabs - usuall punchy Trace tone The carpet covering on the last pic looks worse than it is -- probably just needs a pair of scissors taken to it to trim it down. Looking for [s]£150 plus delivery[/s] £150 including delivery to mainland UK

I've gone from being a fingers player to using a plectrum more and more. I'm also playing closer to the bridge than I used to. Learning 2 handed tapping as well as the occasional chord. I would say my playing has come on so much more in the last 3 or 4 years and I think its been from listening to what people on here have to say about stuff and being introduced to new bands and picking up new tricks Oh aye, I'm 35
I mostly use Hartke strings which I have found surprisingly good despite their inexpensive nature (£12-15 off ebay for 3 sets). Bright sound, and not too rough a feel either.
I've found that these work really well on my Epiphone Thunderbird and last for months at the same price for 3 sets as you'd pay for one set of standard strings like Rotos. In ther past though I've found that Slinkies work really well on Stingrays, Optima Gold and Chrome on '51 Reissue Precisions, TI Flats on Ibanez SR series and Elites on Bass Collection basses.

As the owner of an 800R and 2 700RB II amps I can say that they are no more complicated to work than ordering a pizza over the phone - if you can't work it then you're in the wrong game. You just need to spend a few minutes checking out the manual like you would with any amp. The front panel of the current series is split into sections. The main one is the 4 band active parametric EQ which is designed so you can;t get a bad sound out of it, may not be your sound with everything all the way up or down but I generally have everything set level and make small adjustments according to the room I am playing in. It has a couple of voicing options similar to the old 800RB but instead of being on or off, you gave control over how much you add. Boost is designed to give a slightly gritty overdriven valve effect and works very well Over at the left hand side you have your DI out with a level control which is very uncommon, saves having to fight with the sound guy when he tells you you;re going too hot into the desk. You also have the usual tuner input, effects send and return, passive/active switch etc. On the back you have 2 speakon and 2 1/4" inch jacks, and your power connection. Not any more difficult to work out than any other amp. They can sound warm, bright but not harsh and do a lovely gritty sound. Very punchy and bags of power. And don't pay too much attention to JTUK because if he/she doesn't have it or doesn't like it then its not worth anyone having it and he can't accept that there others who think differently - just check out the 2x15" thread to see what i mean

Is that Jedward Lee from Mush any relation to Sarah who makes the chocolate gateauxs? I always remember what my dad told me on my 16th birthday - 'Get out' Some of these songs remind me of my late wife - she's late for everything Anyway, its nice to see you, to see you nice. Bu bu bu ba bu bu ba, good game, good game I've not got much money but my granny's got piles Gay guy walks into a butchers and says ' can I have a mince round?' and the butcher says 'yes but you'll need to be quick cos we shut in 5 minutes' I was compared to that Fela from the Red Hot Pilly Sneppers - compared to him I sound like a rabid pensioner throwing a bag of cats down a staircase -
I think having to learn so many songs in such a short period of time after such a long hiatus from playing automatically gives you the right to have a music stand at gig.

Until you said active I would've said Epiphone Thunderbird - slappable, tappable, fingerstyle or with a plectrum. The Goth model has 1.5" nut width same as a Jazz bass. If active is your thing then the Epiphone Thunderbird Pro would cover everything. 7 piece neckthrough, active pickups, 1.5" nut width. £318 delivered from Thomann with gig bag. If I can't find a non-reverse Epiphone Thunderbird 5 then I may invest in the 5 string version
He sure has talent anyone that disputes that is just being a knob but if you dont like it then its hard to listen long enough to pick out the bits you do like.Lets face it most of the people in the diehard MK camp have never tried to listen to any RHCP stuff and visa versa.I think the fact Flea uses a less cheesy sound is what attract people to him over MK.Sure Im going to get a barrage of have you heard this that and the other without the cheesy sound but Its not for me,Sorry. BassDayUK tomorrow so I should get used to the slapfest really!
Diehard Chilis fan, even have the band tatoo on my forearm. My biggest influence by a mile. Went to see Level 42 on Tuesday and thought they were brilliant - some people miss the point thinking that all MK does is the slappity slap thing - his finger playing is equally amazing. Try to listen to as much as you can - my favs are the above, Chris Squire, Lemmy, John Deacon and my slap playing is a combination of Flea and listening to Nathan East's first instructional DVD about a squillion times One of my favourite clips ever http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cIdJFmFkag
