1. This is a complete bargain and I'm 60 miles away. Someone please buy it so i don't
2. Maybe just released at NAMM?
3. Final bump - its on Ebay now but I'd prefer to sell to someone on here. Open to trades for basses
4. Well I'm big Del so by merely frequenting here not only have I made all your bass collections appreciate in value, I have also increased the likelyhood of you all finding that special 'red sunburst' bass of your own one day
5. I'm just waiting for a movement in the tectonic plates to more hertfordshire closer to Scotland and I'll have my wallet at the ready
6.
When i sold mine it went to the Czech Republic in the end. Suprised its still hare as these are great cabs and were much sort after
Pardon?
7. That looks like one of those mental flame shaped thingies that were on Ebay US last year - apparently Motorhead were endorsing them. This one looks like its gone from flame to actually melted.
8. The cheapest courier I can find for this is £42 + VAT. Anyone have any cheaper options?
9. I think the SMC range was Gibson era and I'm pretty sure the 1153T is too. My one didn;t have the T at the end Is it green carpet or black vinyl covered?
10. You have to put the handles on backwards otherwise you can't get the rack lid on. Had to do exactly the same with mine
11. Bugger that is cheap Hertfordshire is just south of Edinburgh isn't it? if only
12. I'm actually in no hurry to sell or trade this so probably won't bump this again. I am interested in a 5 string Stingray but it would really have to be black with a rosewood fretboard or lava pearl with rosewood.
13. I saw that Redhead yesterday. Remember lusting over these as a young lad. Aren't these about £1400 new?
14. The question of whether to post or not depends on how comfortable the individual is to pack something securely enough to last the trip to its new owner and not burst into flames when it gets there. I've posted so much stuff that I've lost count of it all and its second nature now. I could probably, at a push pack my 8x10" (original box was used to post a trace 1x15") but would rather deliver within reason as the cheapest quote i can find is £72. At 25p a mile, you could live as far away as 140 miles away from me before it became cheaper to post. Then again, as people have said previously, not everyone has a car, the time or the will to post something large. I think its a good idea to list where you are in your thread or at the very least at the beginning of your listing to avoid the type of GAS where you are unable to act on it (whether that's good or bad) man, I'm really beginning to wander now. nurse? nurse?
15. I've just updated my item to try it out in before the lock
16. Now open to trades. No idea what I'm after, Ok I want a trace 4x12" but that ain't going to happen anytime soon. Try me
17. I've now traded this locally with a fellow forum member
18. The fastest playing bass I ever owned was one of these
19. I can't remember when there were so many basses on here that I wanted. I don't think I've seen a 5 string one of these before
20. oh mama this is a good looking bass. I did tell myself that after 7 or 8 stingrays I wouldn't buy another though well we'll see.
