I'm going on holiday in 3 weeks so would like to arrange a sale before then otherwise I'll need to withdraw it while I'm away. I'd like to have the bass with it's new owner and everything hunky dory well before I go. As before, open to trades on 4 strings - fretted or fretless (just need a decent backup 4 string bass), alternatively lightweight 100-200w combos (I'll be needing one for the acoustic sets with the band). Trades would need to be with cash my way or feel free to make me a reasonable cash offer

I'd like to sell but not desparate to. My biggest problem is that as soon as I get something new the old one must go and go fast I played this at a wedding fair today and I've decided that I'm definitely not going to keep it, regardless of what I might say between now and the actual sale. Fantastic bass, just not for me anymore but I'm glad I bought it and have enjoyed playing it very much.

Always wanted to try one of these but they never seem to come up locally.

After last night's gig I'm now thinking trades of something 4 string - fretted or fretless It needs to be something relatively light - Yamaha RBX-A2, Bass Collection, Ibanez - I wouldn't say no to a straight swap for a US EBMM Sterling Alternatively, these are just things that I would like as trades but don't really need - cash is king so feel free to PM me a sensible offer.

I know what you mean. I want to sell it but I'm not going to give it away. I could've sent a counter offer but I didn't think that, considering their first offer, they'd go anywhere near what I want for it so I just declined it. I'm going to keep this thread active until I go on holiday in a few weeks then withdraw it if it hasn't sold or been traded. I've just realised that I have a set of Elixir strings that I put on this bass for 1 night then took them off as I found them too rough so I'll include these with the bass as well as the D'addarios that are on it. Hah. Just been offered £300 as a best offer on ebay. Now let me think about that .....

I've just bought myself an acoustic bass so that's me sorted for one of those now. I'd still be up for a trade for a lightweight 4 string solid body bass but it must be active. Maybe something from the Sterling by MM or Sub ranges or one of the Squier deluxe active models but I am open to other ideas. Any trade will need to be with cash my way or straight swap. Alternatively, feel free to PM me a reasonable offer
