DBX 215 2 Channel 15 band EQ - SOLD ON EBAY

I don't know how much difference there is if any but the covers comfortably fit over a Gotoh 201

I was amazed when I saw the current Quo line up a few years ago how much Rhino's tone sounded like Flea. Not what I was expecting. BTW we're all hoping that they'll do the full version of Mystery Song this year http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4wNdFppo44
A friend of mine works at a venue Original Quo played in the north of England. This person says of Quo/A.L. ( no reason to doubt) that they sent out from the dressing room for "superglue to glue his Pick to his fingers as he couldn't hold it" and that Alan looked "Frail" sounds unlikely but they swear its true. Gaffer taped fingers pictures reminded me of this story and started to wonder ( just saying)
When I saw them last year at the Academy in Glasgow Alan definitely had a problem holding his plectrum and, yes, he did look frail I'm afraid. Apparently he had been going to the gym to build up his fitness for the tour. Going to see them in April again

DBX 215 2 Channel 15 band EQ - SOLD ON EBAY

I had exactly the same problem as you when I was trying to have two volumes and two tones. As soon as I turned one pickup slightly down it cut out completely. Tried everything and could not get it to work - different wiring, different pickups to make sure that it wasn't them at fault but nothing worked. The solution? Abandoned the whole lot and fitted a set of EMGs Not the answer you need but myself and a couple of forum members spent a hell of a lot of time trying to solve it but couldn't fathom it out

I'd be more interested in hearing them without all the overdrive though to hear the real sound of them

I for sale a near mint condition DBX 215 2 channel 15 band rackmount EQ. It features 2 channels of 15 bands of EQ, highpass filter, bypass, gain control, clip light and output level LEDs I bought this to do 2 things - The first channel was to act as an always on sort of bandpass fiter to remove frequencies that my bass generated but that my cabs couldn't produce. The second was to switch in channel two for when I used a plectrum as I was doing away with my pedalboard and the GEB-7 that I used on it (which is also for sale) The connectors on the rear are separate XLR and 1/4" jacks for inputs and outputs on both channels and it uses an IEC cable. I'm now simplifying things and just want to go straight into my amp and not via pedals, processors, wireless etc so this means selling this. Looking for [s]£80 posted[/s] £60 plus postage and payment by bank transfer. All the marks you see in the pictures are just tiny dust particles, my camera seems to pick everything up

I'm trying to simplify everything now so instead of having a million cables, pedalboard, wireless etc I'm just going from my bass straight into my amp. I'm going to be getting myself a 2u rack as it's all I need and stops me looking at this one thinking what other else I can put in it hence the reason for selling this one. I've had this since about August last year and it's been carried only by me, never been in a van and never chucked about as I always look after all my stuff, even the stuff that's designed to protect other stuff like this is. The interior measures 484mm from front rack to rear rack which is fantastic if you want to rack stuff front and rear - I've used the rear rack to attach a powerstrip but you could effectively attach a processor of some sorts that you don't have to adjust and just keep on I'm looking for £45 delivered to UK mainland. Payment by bank transfer is preferable. Nothing in the rack is included except the rack mounting screws. There are 25 screws in there - enough to rack 6 items with one screw spare and you should be able to get more if required easily enough

Being a big fan of the Laney stuff I would say the NX810 which I also believe is the lightest of all of them by some margin at 45kg.

Always loved the White Falcon bass - this is the nicest 12ver I've seen which previously was the Chandler Royale
-
I would like to have my precision routed for a mudbucker but as I run EMGs and there isn't an EMG version of it, I imagine it would be a PITA to wire up. I think a 35CS would look a tad silly

Pull out Rack Shelf - SOLD

I stupidly sold this and have since bought another one. I noticed on the box that these are now made in China but look and perform exactly the same. I'm in the process of breaking this new one in

I bought a special edition G&L but it arrived with some defects so it went back for a refund. At the same time I had bought a Hipshot BT-1 extender which was never fitted. In fact it's never even been taken out of the packet so is in minty fresh "as new" condition. These are £79 delivered from Bass Direct so I'll do my one for £55 delivered to mainland UK. Payment by bank transfer please. I'm emptying my pedalboard of the few things I actually had on it. I was using this for when I changed to playing with a plectrum but I found myself a rack EQ instead so this is surplus to requirements. It's a Made inTaiwan one. It's been well used but not abused and has scratches and stuff on it. The white tip of the volume slider is missing and the slider itself is slightly bent but it alll works as it should be. I'm looking for £35 posted to mainland UK but am open to offers - his & hers matching luggage, weekend for two in February etc

I never actually got around to using this. Aside from some marks on the drawer itself it hasn't actually ever been fitted into a rack. I'm looking for £30 posted to mainland UK or thereabouts by bank transfer

I've decided to go back to a cable for no other reason than I want to just plug straight into my amp without having a pedalboard in front of me which kind of defeats the purpose of having a wireless. I might get myself a rack one in the future so for now this is for sale. The receiver has been fitted to my pedalboard with a zip tie so no velcro to be found anywhere. One of the plastic things that hold the clip onto the transmitter broke the day I bought it as is a common trait with these so I glued the clip permanently and it's been rock solid ever since. There's a couple of marks here and there but I look after all my gear so there's nothing you should be worried about. This came with a 2 pin euro plug so I bought a dedicated 500mA one to use instead of daisy chaining it and this is included, as is the original jack to jack cable, instruction manual and a couple of Duracels to get you started. I'm looking for £135 posted to mainland UK. Payment by bank transfer please

Is the amp or the cab most important when you want a good sound?
Delberthot replied to gjones's topic in Amps and Cabs
The problem with that cab is that because of the depth of the stage (or lack thereof) you end up with the speaker right by your arse, which can emit sounds but is pretty crap at hearing.
So I've been told I only used that Ashdown once and I had to crank it almost to 10 to hear it on stage whereas my MAG400 doesn't have to go anywhere near as high. Must have been faulty to have had to do that - at least it wasn't me that broke it
