1. I bought this last year but to be honest never really did a lot with it so it was effectively a large expensive tuner. As such its still in excellent condition and comes in a Gator bag. also included is the original power supply and a midi to USB cable so you can connect it to your PC and use editing software to change the settings. Given the condition and the included goodies I'm looking for £140 posted to UK mainland (£130 collected)
2. This was the second

4. I've put two together. The quality is extremely high, the options are almost endless but they don't hold their value well due to being merely a parts bass. Having said that, I would definitely buy another.
5.
Vigier Excess . With a maple fongerboard .
Is that a Norwegian wood?
6. If I see another "I can't upload pictures" thread I'm going to throw something at the telly - Then you'll know all about it Photobucket, Flickr, etc Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
7. I could sell you an as new Westfield precison with the film still on the scratchplate for £70 delivered. Can't believe that an unloaded, unknown body sold for £33
8. After 25 years I had my first audition a couple of weeks ago. Well to be honest they were sh!t. I've pulled more talent out of my ar$ehole to be quite honest. A sh!tload of gear and no talent would be the summary
9. If I have to be absolutely honest if you heard me play you wouldn't realise that I was using flats. In fact most people think flats sound dull and lifeless This is of course utter pishoir. My two favourites are D'addario Chromes and Roto flats. I just couldn't go back to the sharp, rough feel of rounds anymore or the few weeks use that you actually get out of them before they start going dull. Then you have to start EQing your amp differently to keep them going then give in and realise that they sound terrible then buy a new set. Only had the Chromes a few weeks but the Rotos are 3ish years old and sound the same as when I bought them. Consistency is what I love. I know that the sound I had last week is what I'll have in 6 months time so I don't have to keep turning round to my amp to adjust anything other than the volume
10. I've also thought about sitting a cab on top of its flightcase. Would the fact that the cab is sitting on top of a near enough sealed empty box with wheels have an effect on the sound? If not then I'm going to build myself a lightweight one when I change cabs
11. I would never describe my Ashdown ABM410 as muddy. Its loud, clear, cuts through everything and can push out a lot of bass but never muddy. Having said that, I did own an ABM500 RC EVO chrome rack mount thingy for several months and it made my sound incredibly muddy. I thought it was the cabs but it turned out to be the amp. I'm just selling mine cos I want something lighter and smaller for when I change my car in the next wee while
12. Yes -South side of the sky or Siberian Khatru Focus - Hocus Pocus Blockheads - Reasons to be Cheerful
13. This is a mental price for such a great amp. Forget all about all your 'boutique' light weight nonsense, this is a classic amp at a crazy low price
14. This is a slightly modified post- I'm selling my Ashdown ABM410 cab. The cab is an ABM 4x10" which is 600W @ 8ohms. The tweeter failed on this one so was removed. I rarely use the tweeter so I don't miss it. This cab also shows signs of wear and the grill is a bit dented but fully working order apart from the missing tweeter. I'm looking for £110 collected or £135 delivered within mainland UK Any questions then fire away
15. Trace Elliot V-type 1248H 4x12" and 1528 2x15" cabs. 90 kgs of back breaking, skyscraper height phenomenal tone that I would only ever need should I have a roadie, hence why I no longer have either
16. Most Mex Fenders don't come with anything, unless it says so on the Fender website
17. Is there an isolated bass version on Youtube? That's how I learned Won't Get Fooled Again for the rock band

20. I can't even tell if its an actual Fender from the pics. The headstock and decal look very new
21.
Yep, I've got three MM-necked basses, and they're very very good for the money. I've had them fret-dressed, and they play and feel as good as anything Fender. The Warmoth neck I've got on the Explorer is indeed chunky-P in profile (there's a Slim Taper option, tho), but also top quality. I'd love to try a full-wenge J-neck, or go bananas with a full birdseye maple one. I'm over in the States for three weeks at Easter, so I might even order one to be delivered over there and bring it back myself.
The wenge necks are great to play, plus if they become sticky or dirty from use you just run the steel wool down it a couple of times and its good as new. The standard maple neck I ordered had a lot of birdseye figuring in it Never had the option of the thinner neck when I got mine but if/when I order another then I 'll definitely go with this option All of their stuff is top top quality
22. I love the EMG 35HZ pickups. I put them in my Ibanez Doug Wimbish and favour them over the stock EMG P4 & J4 pickups that were originally in it. The one nearest the neck can get some nice thick, clear bass and the one nearest the bridge can get nice and honky but not nasal like a normal Jazz pickup.
