Ok so if it’s collected from PE27 3FW and taken without the hard case I’ll take £620 which is a bargain for this. Just to answer a few questions I’ve had one here for all to see its a slab body 51 not contoured The frets are in great condition and can send photos if needed The neck is chunkier than my other p basses but not as chunky as the Mike Dirnt bass I had. Intonation is very close considering the design,close enough I haven’t bothered to change it.

Fender 51 p bass Real road wear. I’ve taken some pics of the wear. sounds great and non scratchy pots or electrics. I did change the Jack output to an Allparts Electrosocket and the Jack to a switchcraft one. When I got it it was butchered with 2 screws holding the original one in,punk rock and would’ve left it but it wobbled and caused some noises so replaced it with a better one and is solid now. I’ll include the original parts if you want. it’s not a case queen l,this thing has been gigged. However the neck is straight,the back is surprisingly in good condition as not much buckle rash etc. This bass has scratches and dings all over so buy knowing that. It’s a personal thing and something I vastly prefer over a shiny bass I’m scared to play and mark it. Comes with a Fender hard case I’ve had for ages I got with a USA p bass. This is also worn and has some cracking underneath but does the job. The bass weighs 3.945KG / 8.697 pounds and is the reason I got it as others I’ve tried have been wayyy to heavy. any questions please ask,all original,all awesome. Can pick up from St Ives in Cambridgeshire or I’ll post to UK mainland for £30 in a proper box etc.

Just an update. Looks like we’ve raised £215 for Basstardz. I have send him £9.46 and should receive £132.43 soon from Gofundme to sent to him then the rest in 2-4 working days so he’ll have all the dosh next week. Thanks to all who were able to donate or share you truly are awesome people. Ive selected close as I expect it’s all us on here donating and all those who will have by now so I can get the money sooner for him.

Yeah it’s great that I didn’t have to mess about too much to get a good sound. Everything around 12-1 o’clock and SGT on around 10 o’clock with SVT and higher with B15. The B15 is what makes this though for me with flats,and SVT with rounds sounds awesome.

Ok I love this thing. I think it’s the single best thing I’ve bought for bass and there’s been a lot of things. this evening I decided to try the headphones out and aux in for the first time. I usually practice loudly using my GK legacy 800’s power section with a Barefaced One10 and a TC Helicon active speaker for music and never liked headphones with guitar or bass. This is sounds better, having 6 cabsims to choose and all the rest of it I’m sticking with it and the Origin Cali76 to practice. The onboard compressor is total trash though,it just seems to limit a bit but doesn’t bring volume up if you play soft or actually compress so I leave that thing off.

He was selling Fender Roadworn Jazz bass for £450 the add said it didn’t suit the gigs he was having or something. Arkham DI for £275 I think Mesa Boogie Subway 800+ £300 Line 6 HX stomp £200 (although was listed as Helix Stomp 😂) All looked genuine and from a Basschat user.

I’m looking at the Broughton SV-Pre to use in front of my Ampeg SGT-Pre and effectively set it up so I have 2 channels. the Broughton and the SGT but read a couple of things about it not having enough volume to drive a power amp is this true as it won’t be going into the front end of an amp but into the effects return?

Unfortunately one person did fall for the false ad using a genuine members account he/she had hacked into. He sent £400 I believe. If we can make a small donation to him I think it would ease his anger having lost this money.

Yeah that’s the thing, I thought it was a genuine Basschat member and would’ve sent money hadn’t he sent a message saying about friends and family and it might convert to USD as it’s a business account he uses.
