    Up for sale is the Hand Box R-400 I bought from here a few months ago. It’s been a solid head and never let me down on a gig,the band I’m in needs more of a Vintage sounding amp (Ampeg/Ashdown). Since I got it the Red LED light that lights up the logo has died and the blue one that’s in works but I notice it’s flicks off every now and then. This doesn’t effect anything else in the amp but I think it needs new lights. My best mates amp tech has a little look and he said inside is very impressive and clean and the problem I’m having is indeed just it needing new lights but I haven’t bothered to. Previous owner put rubber feet on the side which I think should come as standard and help protect it a bit. Available for collection from PE27 3FW postcode and you can have a play with it before buying if you like or I can post with Parcelforce and box it up no worries. Any questions please ask and I’ll do my best to answer them. I would consider trades also.

    I don’t understand how either of the pre drilled positions would be used,I tried but didn’t feel natural at all, just a little thumb rest to anchor on is all I need.

    Got the JMJ Mustang yesterday and it’s great but both positions of the thumb rest don’t do it for me. I’m more of a Leave me thumb resting on top of the Precision pickup kind of player. Unfortunately you cannot do this with the smaller and shallower Mustang pickups so at the moment I have just put a small circle piece of rubber that has sticky stuff on it that was in a drawer from years ago and it does the job but I’d like to get something more permanent and screwed into place. But I don’t want a big sized thumb rest,just something small and discreet maybe thinner and half the size of a normal one. Looking on the internet I saw 1 picture of a small thumb rest on the very bass model I have and looks good but can’t find them anywhere. Any ideas? If not I think I’ll find a piece of wood and spend some time sanding it to size and shape myself but I’m lazy.

    Great condition,used to switch between 2 basses and works flawlessly also great to have the option of lower one of the channels volume for a hotter output bass. Fits great on a Pedaltrain Nano+ pedalboard. Will post asap with Royal Mail to UK mainland or you can collect from PE27 area.

    Mint condition and updated to latest firmware. Not getting used,comes with the power cable and PC cable. Ill post sharpish with Parcelforce to UK mainland.

    So that fits with it being smaller I think. It’s like it’s gone in a shrinking machine as the pickguard is loads smaller than a regular one. they haven’t just stuck a shorter neck on. Headstock is smaller etc.

    Made in Japan non export,just sold to the Japanese market 32” scale Jazz bass. I imported this myself from Japan. Thinking of selling as I already have the Aerodyne medium scale and have been looking at some mustangs. Extremely hard to find JB62M, the body and headstock are also reduced in size by 6-8% I believe so much better for short people like Myself where a full sized bass looks a bit silly.     Looking to put together a small board and a few pedals this included are too tall to go on a Pedaltrain nano without some of the pedal being over the edges so selling this for something smaller. not a fan of MXR bass comp but like the size and ability of the Empress if anyone wants to swap?
