    My R400 has started to turn on without the red HB logo that goes green and instead the Protect light is on and then HB logo goes green. Anything I should worry about? Also once it did this and no sound came out so I had to turn it off and restart and it worked again. Bit concerned something isn’t right, any ideas?

    Yeah for those who don’t know the bottom left knob is the funkulator. All the way on does nothing but as you go counter clockwise it scoops the mids whilst boosting the bass and treble I think. Great for slappin’

    Ok so weighing again it says 8.4 but weighed with one of those hanging scales it say 9lbs so no idea the weight. It’s not as heavy as my Made in America,burst Mexican one I had and a LPB one,this is lighter than those.

    Sorry to hear that. This pedal is great for anyone wondering. I used it just with the overdrive and a little of the lpf to take the top off and sounded great at making that tube amp sound.

    Simplicity most the time is best,just wish the MXR 6 band had a level slider to keep of and on volumes matching

    Yeah that’s true. I’m currently using the Hand Box R400 head and no idea what the bass knob freq is.

    Yeah I got it after you said about it. It’s a great pedal and was up to the job but needed something around the 60-80hz and the ability to have 5 eq settings easily available (4 presets and the manual setting) was a no brainier for me. on the boss there’s 3 different EQ options so although it says 30hz-60hz etc mines set lower. Both great pedals and if the MXR had an extra slider for 60-80hz I would’ve kept it. Also when boosting certain frequencies there was obviously a bump on volume where the Boss EQ200,GE7,MXR 10 band have a volume slider to to bring it back down to unity volume but still keep the EQ settings.

    Hope it all works out for you. Thats amazing you got it much cheaper than you though. So maybe he’s selling it like you say then. says make an offer so I’ll offer £50 less and see anyway. But I think £850ish in total is ok for these as they are hard to come by.

    Thanks for this. I asked him if he could just take a picture of the bass with a piece of paper with my name on as I said I wasn’t sure as I’ve seen the same basses for sale on numerous accounts (not this one but others) He said their basses are in the warehouse but he will get over there and do it so we’ll see. Looks great and it’s White too ❤️. Love white or a burst

    Got this a month ago from Bass Direct for my Mexican P bass. Works fantastically well and takes 2 mins to install and you can chose what tuning you want when you release the lever (it’s pretty genius). I have to get a different version now for my other bass so selling this one £99 new, £70 including delivery and it’s barely been used. Save yourself £30 if you want one. it suits Chrome or Nickel.

    Bought this in March 2023 for a Lake placid blue bass. Looked great but sold that bass now and don’t have another bass for it. cost me £50 from DV247 plus £7 postage. It’s mint condition and I’ll sell it for £35 including delivery. So save yourself £22.

    I need to sell this fast to get another bass quickly. £450 if you can pick it up. Selling this and maybe another bass to get a medium scale Jazz from Japan. This bass is great. Only thing I changed was to put on black pickguard but have the original white one that I’ll put inside the package. No hardcase or bag I’m afraid but I have boxes from buying and selling a few basses over the last couple of years 😂. Asking £550 which includes delivery to UK mainland only. If you want to collect you can and have it for £500 from PE27 3FW which is St Ives Cambridgeshire. Ive tried to take photos of the normal wear areas but this hasn’t got anything I can see,just the normal small scratches maybe but no dings or wear.
