  1. I’m also interested but they don’t appear to be very popular at the moment and the V7 isn’t in stock anywhere !! I’ve read the build quality is somewhat flimsy ?
  2. Trades considered for a decent Fender PBass or decent high end amp head. Ampeg SVT112AV bass cabs x 2 300w 8 ohms 1 x 12” plus tweeter With covers Both as new condition and not gigged Collection or delivery if sensible distance to Ipswich Price is for both cabs or if purchasing one cab it’s £325.00 each Both fitted with heavy duty rubber feet on end so can be stacked on the ends to make a tall rig or on their base for a lower stack. Easy carry / lift as only 20kg each Tech Spec. RMS Power Handling: 300 Watts Frequency Response (-3dB): 70 Hz-18 kHz Usable Low Frequency (-10 dB): 35 Hz Nominal Impedance: 8 Ohms Sensitivity: 96 dB Maximum SPL: 121 dB Dimensions (W x H x D inches): 24 x 17 x 16 Weight: 45 Pounds / 20KG
  3. Just purchased the Vanderclay cab from James Great guy and trusted bass chatter
  4. Good point, will add an extra pic soon but it’s as new condition as the front !!
  5. EBS REIDMAR 752 Bass Head As new condition and recently purchased off here but I now have too many amps so reluctantly this must go to make some much needed funds Very loud amp and capable of going down to 2ohms In full band use ( rock covers ) into two 8ohm cabs this amp was loud enough on volume 3 - 4 !! Great compressor and drive and makes a very versatile amp Price includes U.K. shipping
  6. It’s brand new too so I think a good bargain May pull it from sale if it doesn’t sell this week and just keep it for home use
  7. I did this last year and didn’t like the slightly scooped sound so I sold mine and went back to a PBass
  8. I’m using Toretex Blue 1.0mm triangles Perfect pick for rock tone with a PBass and then lose some mids as it’s too harsh if not
  9. I think Pre is in front of all of those
  10. Also if I recall post EQ can push the level up out of the DI if you adjust EQ / master volume etc As mentioned pre EQ DI is your best choice
  11. Yep I agree with this .. there are better amps around now and more reliable too
  12. Just waiting now for a nice second hand ST to become available!! Cash waiting
  13. Ampeg Micro VR 200W head Purchased new this year but never used as plans changed Totally as new in original box with instructions and mains lead U.K. shipping add £10.00
  14. The tone controls on CTM amps are confusing and if like the CTM100 a nightmare at times It’s the reason I sold mine in the end as it had a lack of EQ adjustment
  15. I’ve listened to the 310 and ST comparison on the BF website and I think I prefer the clarity of the ST The 10” sound warm and vintage yet the 12” sound more modern and what you put in is what you get out, I prefer that I think as I can remove EQ or add EQ but not if it’s baked in to the speakers. Im thinking no tweeter ? So do I go for it or carry on just dreaming about it !! ( sad ) !!!
  16. I’m considering the new 310 BF cab
  17. As a guide mine ( same rig as new ) sold for around £700 ! I did let it go cheap as I wanted it gone but I think around £800 -£900 is about what you will achieve
  18. So that may actually be a benefit for pick players where I tend to add bass to fill out the tone more so than finger style
  19. Are you selling your BF cab ?
  20. Are these cabs as good as they claim ? Considering a purchase if I can find one second hand ideally I like the light one cab does all idea How do they sound for say rock / pop
  21. I’ve had both, much preferred the LBT as a nicer amp tone
  22. I tried out my TE1200 tonight with the band and it’s very very nice sounding I know it’s not 500W but it’s an impressive amp for sure
  23. GLWTS Sold exactly the same rig on here last month but for a lot less money !! Someone got a bargain when I sold it so I’m hoping they enjoy an amazing rig
