Shire GLXD16+ wireless system purchased last year and it’s by far the best wireless system available Due to house move and much needed funds this has to sadly go Like new condition and comes with a couple of extra leads and Neotech pouch Receiver / Tuner has Velcro on underside but the rubber feet are in the box too if you wish to return it to original Boxed as new U.K. shipping via courier ( included in price ) payment by bank transfer or cash on collection from Ipswich Suffolk or meet within sensible distance Price is fair considering two extra cables and Neotech pouch included

How do you pub gigging bands deal with setting up your own lights etc ? Our band has a large tripod light bar T that has four large lights but these take up loads of floor space at the back ( mostly in my way ) We have lights that sit in front of the drums and a laser. Then two floor lights heading back towards the band. It’s a challenge placing lights around a band in small venues but having them adds to the show for sure. How do you guys deal with this issue of limited floor space where tri pod light stands just get in the way ?

Great gig for Red Heart rock band Saturday night although we had lighting issues !! A lot of lights and lasers etc as part of our setup but at times the lighting was hard to see fretboard !! Good crowd and we enjoyed playing Ipswich again after a two year break

Translation … the bands setlist songs sound best with a PBass played with a pick ! -

I’ve found so many of our setlist is really calling for a picked played PBass that’s what I do ! Adding the Keeley Bassist and DK Omicron really add something to the overall band sound -

Drives sound shocking ! Wasp in a jam jar !! They never get drives right on low end multi fx Fun home tool but tones are questionable for much else

Well folks after buying two before and both having a peculiar issue when the compressor drops out and a static noise was heard I’ve purchased a new one, third time lucky !! Awesome and whisper quiet ! Sounds bloody amazing !! Settings as below

I have the MG 800 and it’s a fantastic amp. I tend to use the contour on the blue channel but mostly off. I found the orange contour played loud started to sound a little harsh. They are great amps and I run my Darkglass Omicron pedal into it and it sounds glorious for rock. One of the most underrated amps you can buy in my opinion and I’ve had most out there to compare to !!

Or do as I suggested and bin it !

Onboard bass preamp is useful for tone changes on the fly but personally I’m a passive pickup user and preamp on the floor or amp kind of player I find the tone from passive basses more to my liking

I’ve heard people say the lids rattle so my PF cabs were the fixed top style 115 plus horn
-
Those amps were always rated as loud for their quoted watts Back in the day they were very popular and sounded great I recall
-
You should be fine then as it not a terrible cab and for home use it will be perfect.
-
For that head I’m sure it will be fine. I found PF cabs when pushed sounded flubby and not great but I’m sure a 20w head wouldn’t give it much concern
-
Nice amp although I’m not a lover of the style of it. Avoid the PF cabs, I had the 115 and it was very flubby sounding and dark The SVT 112AV is a far superior cab and look good too

Having top input . Output jacks helps in every pedal !

All nicely done, well done sir !

We are about to use BPM Live App in our band to stop drummer running away with tempo ! Will run it on an old IPad and mount it so sticks can see it !
