Big shout out to designacable Order a spare lead for my Shure yesterday afternoon and it arrived this morning !

The GLXD16+ receiver can run off a 9v 400mA power source such as your pedalboard supply or the provided power supply The transmitter has a 11hr ? capacity rechargeable battery ( which you can buy spares for ) The Transmitter comes with a charger ( USB ) or if out at a gig you can charge via the Receiver with a USB lead using the pedalboard supply ON for the receiver Its been well thought out

For new users having the Transmitter charging issue where LED flashing RED during charging for many hours see below. Worked for me

It’s from the supplied charger and USB lead. It’s definitely charging as it’s gone from 3 red bars on the receiver to all of them when I pair it.

Question .. I’m charging my transmitter using the USB lead and the led is flashing red ( has done for 3hrs ) The instructions say solid red = charging not flashing like mine ? Is it correct?

Mines arrived and been tested Very nice indeed and robust and sounds spot on. Tuner is fast and accurate and nice bright screen I’m running mine at default 0 DB gain setting and channel 11 ( default ) Latency ?? Not detectable so no issue Fits the Neotech medium pouch perfectly although I’ve got the Levy’s MM4 coming too for my spare bass Battery had approx half charge in it from the box so I’m charging it up via the supplied USB lead The four rubber feet peel off ( saved ) as to get better velcro fit on pedalboard ( it’s heavier than some pedals ) Some pics below

We gig that every set and it’s liked in darkest Suffolk ! Our female singer does an amazing job and as close to Stevie Nicks as you could want

Just ordered an extra cable for my Shure GLXD16+ in 75cm length with right angle lead

Ok Neotech medium pouch .. just fitted it to my strap ( without transmitter ) and it slides up and down a bit. Does that change when you fit your transmitter ? ( mines on its way )

The way I now look at it is you pay a good price for amps, basses, pedals then cut costs buying a less quality wireless. Im confident it’s worth it !

Had one and sold it, plastic and flimsy and ok for the money but I’m hoping the Shure is a big step up

Thought I would start a Shure users group on here as the Shure website etc is hard work. Perhaps post details about buying additional cables and links, pouch’s etc Working issues and reports and general good or bad points about the product

I’m correct thinking the transmitter points downward with cable leaving the bottom ?

It will be on a Fender Jazz bass and my transmitter will be in the Neotech pouch on my strap Of course I guess it depends on where on strap and how much movement you need !

I think the cable is WA305 0.9m long I’ve ordered a spare as 0.75m as I think it will also be long enough

Is the supplied lead too long ? Naturally you don’t want it too short but I believe it’s 3ft long ?

I think I will try both the back pocket idea or the Neotech pouch. is the lead a bit long though if in back pocket ?

I’ve ordered the Neotech medium for now Now what about a spare cable ?? Anyone making these on eBay ?

Well .. I’ve decided to return my Boss WL-50 and I’ve ordered the Shure GLXD16+ !! I like the idea of the tuner and dual band Now question for other users where do you have the transmitter ? Back pocket, belt, strap or strap holster ?

This isn’t my experience with my TH700 but it does take time understanding the drive / gain interaction in relation to the EQ Mine is clean, warm and vintage if needed and sounds very valve like

I can really recommend the Aguilar TH700 as a superb quality amp It replaced my all valve CTM100

+1 this, I totally agree it’s a very liberating feeling not being tethered !!
