  1. EBS REIDMAR 752 bass head in excellent condition, virtually like new This amp has it all, compressor, Drive, Character On/Off and great EQ section Loud amp and it will run down to 2 ohms ! Price includes shipping in U.K.
  2. I have ordered some digital scales so I will know the weight later this week
  3. Hi Unfortunately I have no scales to weigh it sorry. It feels a typical average weight of a PBass which I know means very little but it’s not a boat anchor nor a lightweight bass
  4. Like new Vintera II PBass with Fender Gig bag Lovely bass and the condition is just like new as it’s hardly been played. Weight 8.4lbs I have a suitable box so I can ship at buyers expense and arrangement or collect from Needham Market Suffolk Now Sold
  5. I can also say the Ampeg V4B amp is a fantastic and loud amp and works great with rock stuff Using the SVT212AV cab or two SVT112AV cabs make it a great rock band rig
  6. If you could ship I would be interested
  7. That was nearly what happened but got talked into a new band again and it’s worked out well so far
  8. Get the drummers kick drum printed, problem solved 👍
  9. That would sit nicely ( has the matching feet cups ) on my SVT112AV cabs that I’m trying to sell on here ) Fantastic amps, one of the best and loud too GLWTS
  10. Well .. I’ve popped the 45-100 on and naturally fresh strings always seem zingy but I will see what’s it’s like played loud with the band soon
  11. Great songs but definitely not my kind of setlist as I prefer more rock, punk, pop. I’ve done several of those songs and they are plodders in my opinion and you could do with a few more recent stuff I think. We all like different things but your best on that list are Simple Minds Duran Duran Creep Again that’s my opinion and you will get others who will love that set which is the wonderful world of musical choice
  12. We will probably end up playing Summer 69 but we do Run to You and Can’t stop this thing we started for now I think band members or BL who say no to these songs should go out and see a good covers band on a Saturday night and see what actually works and what doesn’t Slow songs are mostly a no no but perhaps one in the set can add something. We do a Bon Jovi either Dead or Alive or Bed of Roses
  13. This is a tough one as a fellow covers band player Do you offer Sex on Fire, Dakota or Summer of 69 and do the same as 75% pub bands do or be creative and choose well known songs and rock them up We now do Tainted Love as a rock song ( Scorpions Version ) and it sounds awesome!! If years back someone suggested that song I would have laughed and said never !! Well known but different songs is the aim for our band
  14. Yep I did this with four stick on rubber feet to raise my amp. I found them on EBay and they were perfect
  15. This is the amp I nearly got when moving from my CTM100 and settling on the V4B I think for rock they are a superb amp with just the right sound but now for me they are too big and too heavy
  16. They pack a punch in a small footprint and light. Very pleased with my Monaco cab as mentioned and they definitely do a great job even as a single cab. Nicely made too 👍
  17. Yep exactly .. the E string as 105 is a tad boomy so I’m thinking a 100 may help. I have tried it before but I can’t recall the outcome but it wasn’t bad I’m sure so maybe for convenience I went back to 45-105 ?
  18. I’m tempted back towards a nice Ray 4 string
  19. I tried the Fender Rumble 210 v3 and found it got farty very fast ! Didn’t rate them at all Ashdown RM cabs are ok but not as nice as ABM Pro Neo ( couple for sale on here )
  20. What about an Ampeg SVT112 AV ? 300w 8 ohm cab and a decent sound I have two of them up for sale at present and one is boxed as new
  21. I have the Monaco cab and it’s awesome and loud and a great single use light cab GLWTS
  22. Decided to try dropping down a string gauge from 45-105 to 45-100 as I recall using them before and it offers a less boomy fundamental on the E string Anyone using light gauge strings ?
  23. Is there a bass that sounds like a Thunderbird yet isn’t the awkward shape and length !! I love the look and tone especially pick played for rock but I’m seeking something with dual humbuckers and neck around 40 - 42mm and costs less than £750 !!
