  1. Wow that’s a bargain alas too far away You could wrap it in cardboard and ship for £30 approx
  2. Good feedback .. you anywhere Near East Anglia ?? Im seeing nearly all positive comments especially based on its price / sound / weight ratio They do appear to sound decent and that light cab yet using a Ceramic Driver is impressive. I wouldn’t want to drop it down some stairs yet I wouldn’t want to that with any cab as I’m sure it would get badly damaged apart from old Peavey cabs !!
  3. Are they nickel plated or pure nickel ? Ive swopped over to Pure Nickel and so far I like the result more so than the more usual Nickel plated rounds
  4. I’m hoping they sound decent when pushed so should know tomorrow night. I like the fact they are very light for a non Neo loaded cab and it has an Eminence speaker inside
  5. To stack you need to take castors off but as it’s light I probably wouldn’t use them anyway !
  6. I have same cabs as Lozz and I play loud rock using two Ashdown ABM 210 Neo lightweight cabs ( sealed ) One on its own would be buried by a loud drummer as they are small so most of the sound isn’t reaching your ears .. stack two together and the sound is huge However I miss big 15” ported cabs and changing over and selling my Ashdown cabs. They are superb low cost cabs and weigh 14kg each ! All depends on music you play, band instruments you compete with and final band sound. Ive never played BF cabs but I’m sure they are superb but so is the price and I tend to move gear on so would never pay that price for a cab.
  7. I agree as it’s possible to have good and bad designs in most things. I do think both designs up close have a different sound, maybe less so out front playing live. It does make it harder making the best choice as we seldom have the opportunity to try at volume in a store etc. I guess some of us also like mid punch less lows and others like low boom and fullness without so much mid growl or we want both depending on EQ etc We have so much choice these days it’s a tough one choosing the right set up for a preferred sound and need
  8. I’ve had both over the years and the best was the sealed Ampeg 610 cab More recently the Ampeg PF115LF which is rear ported but a very low bass cab and heavy Just trying the Fender Rumble v3 115 ported cab and I like what I hear. Is it down to ported and cab design perhaps ? Hard to describe but in layman’s terms it’s a fullness or roundness to the sound which some may prefer the mid punch tone of sealed smaller box cabs
  9. What’s your preference and why ? There seems to be more ported cabs around than sealed and they both have there places What do you like about both variants and why
  10. Ok tried my ABM600 on the Fender Rumble 115 cab Different sound to my Neo Ashdown cabs. Is it better ? Difficult to say in a home test but it sounded a decent cab Will try and rehearsal on Tuesday and see if one will keep up with band and add a second if it does
  11. Thank you for comparing I did consider changing to the ported Ashdown ABM115H but it’s a heavier cab. My Fender should be here today to try and compare
  12. My settings, input higher than I thought
  13. Thank you my input gain is around 12 o clock and master around 9 to 10 o clock I run the EQ nearly flat and a treble boost with 340hz pulled down a bit and shape button pushed in Thus is playing PBass with fingers
  14. Hey folks I’m about to try the 115 v3 cab from Fender and I’m curious if people found them ok Im returning to ported cabs after buying new Ashdown ABM Pro Neo sealed cabs ( now up for sale on here ) Will use my Ashdown abm600 head and run a stack of two 115 cabs Not high end I know but price and weight are good for gigging
  15. I’m going to try the Fender Rumble v3 115 and use two stacked if they work out The Rumble cabs seem to get decent reviews and they are sensible prices and I want to try a ported cab too Getting one to try and add a second if I like what I hear
  16. Mine are now up for sale on here as new with covers Can be shipped as I have original boxes I’m going back to 15” speakers They are great compact cabs and very light.
  17. Ashdown ABM210H Pro Neo 8ohm 300w bass cab and Roqsolid Cover which cost £50.00 As new condition with original box so can be shipped to U.K. address at cost Very light cab so one handed carry Purchased in 2021 however I’ve decided to use a single 4ohm cab instead I originally had two of these but one has already been sold on here.
  18. Definitely be interested to hear what you think
  19. Yep I think it’s gone now sadly
  20. There was a local one for sale on FB @£150 I was very tempted
  21. What’s the cabs like ? They are low priced and the 212 looks interesting
  22. However I’ve sold my RM800 now !! Didn’t use it in favour of my new ABM600 👍
  23. I ran my RM800 with both cabs .. you just keep the max volume in check
