Does it have to be bass stuff!

I believe you can take the whole neck holder as it is velcroed in. This particular case is at my luthier right now so i cant check but i believe that is the case I also have the premium which i just checked doesnt have the neck holder

it is fine with the neck strap on the holder.

The lowest cost compressor that people seem to mention in the same breath as empress and cali is probably that Seymour Duncan one, but again that is bass specific. You'd find a used one very close to 100 quid.

Yeah. Toneprint has it's good and bad points, but if you look around most people use the default and are very pleased with it. Im a fan of TC and the toneprint ecosystem.

Aye. I put a left hand neck on a righty bass. I never realise how much i used the side dots until they weren't there. i didn't even consider they wouldn't be.

Just dropped my bass of to the guy. Should have it done by tomorrow. Will post pics. Did you lads know that the underside of a neck doesn't have fret markers! It's so obvious now, but i never even considered it when i built this bass. I'm hoping the guy does a slick job. He's very good at inlay work, so he should be alright.

Interesting choice. I dont love the strings arrangement on this tune, personally. Of the big 5 Sabbath Albums (ozzy era not including Technical ecstasy [weak] and Never say Die [also not great to me]) sabbath Bloody sabbath is my least favourite because of some of the production choices. Although Sabra Cadabra is maybe ozzy's second finest moment (after hole in the sky)

I listened to the song The Warning in headphones the other day and his bass tone is impeccable. Literally perfect. Same sessions as NIB so likely all the same kit

I think on Masters side A lets down the epic side B. Can't argue with the groove on Lord of this World though

So cool and not terribly priced. I don't see what the difference is betwwen Warm Audio doing this and what demonFX is doing. I suppose this one is no longer available commercially.

Oh, i wont be doing it myself! I dont trust me with a drill near a neck. Dropping it off to a luthier tomorrow.
