Messing around dialing in my gig board. Rarely pull out the 4x10

Am i incorrect in saying you might be looking for something like this? https://shift-line.com/cabzone_bass I rhink it looks like the perfect solution. Id buy ine today, but theyre a russian company and i dont think theyre producing right niw. This seems perfect though. Amp and cab modeling in a small footpri t. Seems to be exactly what im looking for. Unfortunately will never fund one Edit: i see you're looking to mkae your own profiles? This wouldnt do that.

Nice one. Im a big fan of the C4. This wouldn't be something im looking for, but always love more options for bass players

Go on...

I bet "Direct from the Source " is a clue..id say you're spot in with the guess. Im in the market for sime kind of IR loader. Would be interested in something like that.

Any particular hard cases any good? Thomann diesnt make one for this board

I've been playing not much shorter than you and i think about it every day

Knobs ands jacks towards the top like this: Or at the bottom like this: I keep vacillating. I feel like knobs at bottom are more susceptible to move but knobs at top seems more likely to break. I suppose bottom makes more sense as you can keep ot in while open. I know im overthinking, but anyine else ever ponder this? What did you decide?

My new public transportation/gigging board. I think i really packed as much functionality as i can in a small footprint. Will test it out tonight, but been planning it for a while.

Long two weeks! Love it! Happy xmas!

Ya, I'm super impressed by it.. https://www.thomann.de/ie/harley_benton_spaceship_power_50m.htm

This one has USB a and USB c as well as a 3Amp output on one of the slots

I am doing basically the same thing but with an added C4 synth pedal

Working on a mini board for shows. Will replace the custom dual distortion with a red muck, get a new compressor and lose the tuner as the plethora has one built-in. The plethora will sit on the board when i get the pedals Just trying to decide on what compressor. MXR or Empress This board will give me everything i need i think. The actual board is one of those Harley Benton powered spaceship with the built in power supply.

I have the x3 and while it took me a while to get my head around it, i absolutely love it. I do think the lack of any synth/envelope and no fuzz/OD turns some people off, but thatxis exactly why i bought it. Im pairing it with a fistortion and a C4 to give me everything i need in a mini board.

I do like source audio, but i feel they'd give me option paralysis
-
Aye, read it often! I wanted that future compact enclosure for this very board, but i found a C4 for a great price so using that in my small board and the FI on the big

Im looking to buy another compressor. I dont really need it, but that is another story. I have it down to 3. Boss BC-1x MxR B87 Empress. I know id be happy with any of the three. Now here's the thing. Initially i ruled out the empress as being too expensive. But i feel you are getting so much more for your money. The boss is 199 is the US but 229 at thomann The mxr is also 199 in the US but a whopping 259 at thomann The empress is more at 274 in the US but 285 at thomann. Seems like i might as well pay the extra 30 for the empress and get the most for my money That said, on the many videos i watched, the empress does sound the best One thing i am worried about is the empress being too fragile for a gig board. Is this just me trying to justify the empress?

Too many greats in every genre, so i will just say my overall favourite The Future Impact is the single greatest bass pedal of all time! Honourable mentions; Line6 DL4 Jam Waterfall chorus Boss RV5 reverb

I have to say after much deliberation, i landed on the Jam. There are so many options for fuzz, but this one ticked all my boxes. Except for top jacks! I think it's a bit "bougie" for a muff clone, and more than I'd generally spend for distortion, but i didnt need anything and figured thats what xmas pressies are for.

Santa Claustinopolis working overtime. Unfortunately can't open until xmas. (Spoiler: it's a bass red muck. My wife's xmas present to me!)
-
Approximately 200 quid to spend frivolously. What are you getting?

I went with a Red Muck. Frivolous in that i dont need it, but want something smaller for a gig board and it is more than I'd generally spend on a distortion pedal. I've asked for it for xmas. -

Ive spent the last hour listening to the red muck and i think I'm sold. I'll have a lookaround. Wish i saw that 20% off sale! Would prefer topjacks though! Cheers! -
